Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone to please God?
Sacrifice. That’s what it takes. Giving your time, talent and resources to communicate the Word of God to others.
Praise is the first step. Only through praise and prayer can we accomplish God’s will for our lives.
Today, ask God what He wants you to do. Be ready for Him to show you. It will take some sacrifice, but the reward of pleasing Him will far outweigh any sacrifice you can give.
God promises in His Word that when we don’t know how to pray, we have the Holy Spirit who will pray for us.
What a great blessing. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He prays for us according to God’s will.
There are times when we don’t know what to pray. Illness, tragedy, decisions about our future and many other things. We want to be in God’s will. Rest in the promise that the Spirit is praying for us.
What a wonderful verse to start with for the month of December! God does supply all our needs.
Some people have abundance of money and material things. Others have very little. The Christmas season is a time for giving. It is not the cost of the gifts, it is the gift given from the heart that counts.
A phone call, letter or an invitation for a meal can mean more than the most expensive present in the world. Your time with your friends and family is the most meaningful gift you can give.
God wants the same thing. You can give a large offering, go to church or do some charity work, but the most important thing you can give to God is time to read His word, pray and then tell someone else about His special gift, the Lord Jesus.
Sometimes, we have to send out an SOS to the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to answer. An acronym for how to get prayers answered follows:
Sincere: it is important that we are sincere when we pray. God knows our heart and He knows if we really desire what we are asking for.
Obedience: we must be sure we are obedient to God’s word. There must not be any known sin in our lives.
Specific: we must be specific and tell God exactly what we need.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest
These are only 5 of the 9 events in this area of Florida today. There a many more events throughout the USA TODAY and on the 31st.
What SOS Events needs most of all is your prayers for many people to be saved. Also, for strength and Holy Spirit power for the many volunteers who will be witnessing.
Some of these volunteers are doing more than one event today.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:18

This coming weekend is the busiest weekend of the year for SOS Events, not only in Florida but throughout the USA. Many Events are taking place and we need You To pray with us for people to be saved.
Pray for good weather, Holy Spirit power for our volunteers and that God will prepare hearts to hear the Gospel and come to know Jesus as their Savior.
And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

SOS Events staff has a very busy schedule the next 2 weeks as many Fall Festivals are scheduled. Not only are the regular events still in progress but the extra events gives much opportunity for more souls to be saved. We are asking for extra prayer from our fellow Christians at this time.
Souls to be saved.
Enough workers to work at the various events.
Strength and good health for SOS workers.

Between now and November 15th, SOS Events Ministry has 16 Events just in Florida.
That does not include the other states. Alabama, New York, Kentucky, Tennessee, New Jersey, Ohio, Indiana and others that have not checked in yet. Please pray with us for souls to be saved.
Also, the volunteers who work at these events. Many are elderly, some have physical problems, the younger ones have jobs and families to look after, but their love for the Lord and their burden for souls is so great they come and work at events despite the obstacles. Please pray with us for these upcoming events.
Jesus prayed often, and He gave us what we call the Lord’s prayer.
If you have difficulty finding something to pray about pray the prayer that God gave us. In that prayer is what we need every day.
We need food, we need forgiveness of our daily sins, we need to forgive others. Everything we need is in this prayer.
Most important of all we need to to honor our Heavenly Father in everything we do.
Once we start praying we will know what additional things we need to pray about.
