The Bible has the answer to the age old question. What happens after we die? This one verse in the book of Romans tells us.
We will all stand before God for judgement. He is just and righteous. We will get what the Bible calls wages. If our sins have not been forgiven, we will receive death in the lake of fire.
The good news is, God provided a gift for all of us, if we will accept it. Eternal Life! Through Jesus. His death, burial and resurrection.
Some people think little children are too young to be saved. Jesus said to bring the children to Him. It is our responsibility as Christians to make sure the children we are blessed to have a relationship with know about Jesus.
What a blessing to have young children come to Jesus at an early age. They have their whole lives to serve Him.
Mark 10:14 – But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
God is so good! That is a saying that we hear from many Christians today, but do they really mean it?
Do we have a truly thankful heart? God is good. Always, in every situation. God can take the worst situation and turn it around for good.
So today if you have a wonderful day of blessing, be thankful.
If your day is full of sorrow for whatever reason, be thankful because you can count on God because He is good. He is with you to comfort you and turn your sorrow into joy.
“Don’t put your Pastor on a pedestal where he can get knocked off, put him on your prayer list where he can be lifted up.”
As you go to church pray for your pastor. He needs the power of the Holy Spirit and encouragement.
D. L. Moody became a powerful evangelist because as he preached he had a group of people praying for him and thousands of people were saved though his ministry.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Next week is Valentine’s Day. We think of it as a day to show love to the person or persons we love. We send cards, candy, flowers or a gift to that loved one. Nothing wrong with expressing love to people we love. In fact we should show our love 365 days a year to everyone we hold dear. The greatest love we can experience in life is to accept the love that God showed to us when He sent His Son, JESUS, to die on the cross and pay the price for our sins. The next few days the focus will be on LOVE. The Bible has much to say about this subject.
Praise the Lord for the people from every Continent around the world who are reading God’s Word through SOS Events website.
Everyday, God blesses with new people from Countries outside the USA.
Christians, please pray for these people. Many live in places that do not allow them freedom to worship or even have a copy of the Bible.
It is amazing to see how God is using SOS Events not only with winning souls at events in the USA but has expanded the Ministry throughout the world via the website.
Truly we are obedient to the command, “Go into all the world.”
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark16:15
