It is unusual for the staff of SOS Events Ministry to be together at an event. Last evening, they were all there.
Carolyn, Diana and Val we’re just finishing a shift and Alice and Stephanie came in to finish the last shift of the strawberry Festival this year.
God blessed with a total of 306 decisions. There was also a lot of interest in Christians that wanted to partner with SOS Events.
To God be the glory, great things HE has done. We are His messengers but He brings the people who need to hear to the booth.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57
You Can Be A Witness For The Lord!

One woman and her husband accepted the Lord as their Savior. Before they left the booth, she told the soul winner that when she walked into the building she knew something good was going to happen, she could feel it. Then she gave the soul winner a hug.
The Holy Spirit will prepare a person’s heart to accept Him but if the soul winner isn’t prepared or willing to share then that person will either not accept the Lord that day or the Lord will find someone else that can share the good news with them.
Why not let that person be you, the one that shares?
SOS Events will equip you to be the witness that God wants you to be. There are many other events besides the Strawberry Festival that needs YOU. Not only in Florida but throughout the USA.

Victory in Jesus!

Do you ever feel like Satin is winning the battle in your life?
When we are working for the Lord, the Enemy tries to discourage and make us think nothing good will happen.
At Strawberry Festival, the SOS Events Team were ready to have a good day. Then a man came into the booth and all he wanted to do was argue about the Bible, and he had one of the volunteers not knowing what to do. Finally, another volunteer interrupted and got him to leave.
Immediately, another disagreeable person did the same thing. The Team felt discouraged, but had prayer together.
Then God moved and soon the booth was filled with people that wanted to hear God’s Word.
In that 3 hours, 13 people accepted Jesus as their Savior. There truly is victory in Jesus!
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57
Your Heart And Your Thoughts!

Are you willing to ask God to search your heart and your thoughts?
Sin starts in the mind. If we truly want to have a pure heart, then we need to ask God to reveal to us any thoughts that may not be pleasing to Him.
Wow! That can be a risky prayer. We may have to give up that secret sin.
But, the reward of knowing that we have pleased the Lord will far outweigh anything we want to hold on to.
SOS Events Staff at Strawberry Festival!

The Monday evening before the Florida Strawberry Festival starts a great dinner is served to all the vendors.
It is an opportunity for the staff of SOS Events to get together and fellowship before the work of a busy 11 days of working in the booth to witness to people.
It is a big responsibility to make sure the booth has at least 3 or 4 volunteers for every hour the building is open. That is 12 hours a day.
If you re a trained worker with SOS Events Ministry and live in the area that you can get to the Festival, please volunteer. There are still some vacancies.
Do not miss the opportunity to share the gospel with the lost. You will be blessed. It is the most exciting and rewarding experience you can have.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
A True Story!

Angie, one of the SOS Events volunteers, has a wonderful heritage.
Her mother, was a volunteer with SOS Events many years ago. Her mother could not drive, but Angie could when she was sixteen years old. So Angie drove her mother to events, stayed and listened and learned how to be a witness.
Her mother made Angie promise that she would continue working with SOS Events.
Today, Angie is a faithful volunteer and works many events with the Florida team. She has the joy of leading others to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
Good parenting continues from generation to generation.
God Answers Prayer!

God answers prayer. When you pray do you expect God to answer? Have you been obedient to His word? Do you take time with Him daily?
God loves you if you are born again into His family, He will answer. We love to give gifts to our children. He loves to give to us, as long as we pray in His will. When the answer comes give Him the Praise and Glory.

Go Fishing!

Jesus told Peter and Andrew, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
But they are not the only ones who Jesus expects to “go fishing”.
It is every Christian’s responsibility to GO.
You can’t fish sitting at home, or going to church and talking about it.
You have to go where the fish are.
If you do not know where to go, or you don’t know how to catch fish (witnessing to men, women and children), SOS Events can teach you.
You can go to festivals, community events, yard sales, car shows, flea markets and other types of events. People who are lost are at these events!
That is where the “fish” are. Come join SOS and see how happy you will be when you start to obey Jesus, and He blesses you with many people you have “caught” to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Thankful For Serving Our Savior!

It is a privilege to Serve Our Savior with SOS Events Ministry. Thankful for every missionary, trainer and volunteer who has been a witness for the Lord Jesus in the last 23 years.
Thank the Lord for all the souls who have come for salvation and assurance in those years. Thank you all for your service for Him.
Praying for more souls, more volunteers and more opportunity.
