John 19:17 & 18 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.Mark 14: 22-24
There is so much more about the Last Supper as we call it. Please read more about this last meal Jesus had with His disciples before His death. There is so much we can learn about how He wants us to live.
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:12-13
On Monday, the day after Jesus wrote into Jerusalem on a donkey, Jesus was walking with his disciples. He saw a fig tree that had no fruit and he said that this fig tree will never again have fruit.
Later, when they pass that way again, the tree had withered and died. Jesus had power and dominion over everything that was ever created.
And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. Mark 11:13-14
This is a happy hymn that holds so true. Read the words. Life changes when Jesus comes in.
Joy, sins forgiven, hope, light and assurance of Heaven.
What a wonderful change in my life has been wrought Since Jesus came into my heart! I have light in my soul for which long I had sought, Since Jesus came into my heart!
Refrain:
Since Jesus came into my heart! Since Jesus came into my heart! Floods of joy o’er my soul like the sea billows roll, Since Jesus came into my heart!
I have ceased from my wand’ring and going astray, Since Jesus came into my heart! And my sins which were many are all washed away, Since Jesus came into my heart!
I’m possessed of a hope that is steadfast and sure, Since Jesus came into my heart! And no dark clouds of doubt now my pathway obscure, Since Jesus came into my heart!
There’s a light in the valley of death now for me, Since Jesus came into my heart! And the gates of the City beyond I can see, Since Jesus came into my heart!
I shall go there to dwell in that City I know, Since Jesus came into my heart! And I’m happy, so happy as onward I go, Since Jesus came into my heart!
Oh what a wonderful and blessed day we had Saturday under the SOS Events tent at the Santuck Flea market.
The smile on this young man’s face says it all. Today he and another precious young lady gave their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
It is such a blessing to share God’s word and see the Holy Spirit move in someone’s life.
We were honored to be able to encourage and pray for those who need lifting up and be able to comfort those going through heartbreak. We know God is where our help comes from.
Thank you so very much to John, Carl, Patricia and David for coming out and volunteering their time Serving Our Savior.
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:15
