SOS Events main goal is winning people to the Lord and we always rejoice when souls get saved at events. There is another blessing that causes excitment and joy. When Christians who have never won anyone to the Lord or have not had witnessing as a priority in their lives come to SOS Events to be trained and go to an event, they see how God blesses their effort and people get saved.
There is an old quotation: “Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime.”
That is so true when soul winning. As individuals each team member can witness but when we teach others to be witnesses the training lasts them for a lifetime and more people will have the opportunity to be saved.
Mark 1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Praise the Lord for the 22 people who made decisions for Christ at the Back to School event in Dade City, Florida on Saturday. Families attended this event together. This event is to benefit children, however, parents are with them and it is a great opportunity for SOS Events to present the gospel to people of all ages.
(Pictured below are SOS Events team members waiting for people to come to the booth to hear the gospel)
Acts 14:7 And there they preached the gospel.

If you are not winning souls you are displeasing God. You are either a soul winner or you are backslider
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

This is a typical day at the flea market in Plant City, Florida in the summer when school is out. Many families with children, however, school is beginning so the children will not be with their parents. Sometimes this is an advantage and sometime not, but whatever the crowd God always brings people to the SOS Events booth to hear the gospel and be saved.
Pray for continued success on Wednesdays at this marketplace.
Acts 14:7 And there they preached the gospel.

“Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the temperature of the heart.” Corrie ten Boom
Jesus said, Matthew 6:14-15. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Sometimes aggravation can turn into a blessing. About a month ago Carolyn won a young man to the Lord named, Carlos. He is a Service man for SOS Events Wi-Fi system that we use for the office as well as the home on the property.
After a severe storm last week the Wi-Fi system was not working well so we called for service. The service man who came was the same Carlos and Carolyn was able to talk with him some more about his new faith and she gave him the book 101 Salvation Stories. He was happy to receive it. It was such a blessing to see him again and know that he is growing in his Christian faith.

Sometimes we have plans that seem important at the time and circumstanses come up that those plans change.we often wonder why? As Christians we need to trust the Lord whatever the circumstanses, good or bad.
He is always with us and guides us if we put our trust in Him.
Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
