Patience

Today, look around you at God’s handiwork. Find something in His creation that you can Praise the Lord for, even if you feel depressed or sad. There was a time when I did not feel like getting out of bed because of the death of a son, but I would find one or more things that God created that I could thank Him for and everyday it got a little bit better, until finally I could Praise Him for everything. We have an awesome God that loves and cares for us.

2018 is here. Will it be a year full of joy or sorrow? Will we have success or failure? Sickness or health? God does not allow us to see into the future but he does promise to guide us if we put our trust in Him. He is with us in every circumstance, good or bad and He is always good.

Great and Mighty Things
August 29, 2017What a joy to see that people from around the world are taking advantage of SOS Events website and especially this blog. As of this morning people from 79 countries outside the USA have visited the site. What an opportunity to study God’s Word with the Bible studies. Salvation is presented clearly on the home page for the unsaved. People praying for SOS Events from all over the world is a great blessing. When this Ministry was founded in 2001 with just two ordinary people, we never expected to see it grow to influence not only the USA but many countries around the world. To God be the glory.

Going Through a Dark Time?
July 31, 2017In the Christian life there are times of mountaintop experiences where everything is going great. Then there are the periods where everything seems dark and difficult. The Lord is there in the good times and the hard times.
Maybe it is loss of income, death of a loved one, failed marriage, illness or many other things that come upon everyone as we journey through life. These are the times that our true faith and Christian character show through. A time when we should draw closer to God and trust in Him to bring us the through the valley. God is merciful and He teaches us how to become more like Jesus through our trials. If you are going through a trial today, ask The Lord to give you strength, hope and courage to get you beyond this hardship and help you grow in Christ. Remember, He is right there with you helping you to carry that burden.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Genesee County Fair
July 22, 2017Carolyn Curtis at the Genesee County Fair. Over 20 Salvations by Friday evening and one more day to witness. This is a small fair and a new team for SOS Events Ministry and the opportunity to win people to the Lord is wonderful. Pray for many souls today as it is the last day of the fair and also Carolyn would appreciate prayers for her as she travels back to Florida today.

Alabama Expansion
July 21, 2017Alabama meeting to expand the boarders of SOS Events Ministry on Tuesday, July 18th. Left to right, Patty, Dale, Carolyn, Zack, Rosie, Sammy, Phillip and Billy. All of these Dedecated Christians have one thing in mind, to spread the gospel to more people, especially in Alabama and then out from there to the entire USA and beyond. Please pray for wisdom and God’s will as the ministry continues to grow.
