God’s Word

There is no greater power on earth than the power of God’s Word.

How can 6 Bible verses make a difference in someone’s life?

At an event with SOS Events 6 verses make all the difference for the people who listen and accept Jesus as their Savior.

What are these 6 verses?

1. GOD cannot lie. Titus 1:2

2. GOD cannot change. Malachi 3:6

3. GOD can or let anyone into Heaven unless he is born again. John 3:3-5

4. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. Romans 3:23

5. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

6. For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. Romans 10:13

These 6 verses are used by the volunteers for SOS Events, over the 23 years over 80,000 people have listened to these verses and accepted Jesus as their Savior.

These verses made a difference in each of their lives.

SOS Events Florida Volunteers!

If you are a trained volunteer with the Florida SOS Events Team, we need you!!

Strawberry Festival in Plant City starts tomorrow. There is still several 3 hour slots that need volunteers.

Hundreds of people pass by the SOS Events booth. Most of them are lost and do not know that Jesus is the only way that they can have eternal life.

You have the answer. Are you going to let these men, women, boys and girls go by without an opportunity to be saved?

Go to the website signupgenius, scroll down to find a sign up, type in info@sosevents.org. An icon will pop up about Strawberry Festival and sign up in an empty slot.

If that is to difficult for you call the office at 813-494-7512. We will sign up for you.

God commands us to be witnesses. This is your golden opportunity.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13

A True Story!

“ Train up a child in the way, he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs, 22:6

Angie, one of the SOS Events volunteers, has a wonderful heritage.

Her mother, was a volunteer with SOS Events many years ago. Her mother could not drive, but Angie could when she was sixteen years old. So Angie drove her mother to events, stayed and listened and learned how to be a witness.

Her mother made Angie promise that she would continue working with SOS Events.

Today, Angie is a faithful volunteer and works many events with the Florida team. She has the joy of leading others to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

Good parenting continues from generation to generation.

Thankful For Serving Our Savior!

It is a privilege to Serve Our Savior with SOS Events Ministry. Thankful for every missionary, trainer and volunteer who has been a witness for the Lord Jesus in the last 23 years. 

Thank the Lord for all the souls who have come for salvation and assurance in those years. Thank you all for your service for Him.

Praying for more souls, more volunteers and more opportunity.

SOS Events Alabama Leaders

February 16, 2024

The Alabama Team Leaders with SOS Events Ministry met for lunch on Saturday, February 10, to make plans for events coming up this year.

These leaders are excited for the season for events to begin.

The Alabama Team came together from the beginning of the ministry.

Dale and Dorothy Brown, who worked along with Tom and Carolyn Curtis even before SOS Events was founded, have been the head of the Alabama Team since the beginning, are now moving on to a new beginning for them. They are moving to Colorado in the Spring.

The Alabama Team will continue to grow and expand under the capable leadership of Wes and Beth Walker.

Also, opportunity for a new team in Colorado!

Opportunities

Carolyn Curtis attended the Business Expo yesterday. What an opportunity to talk to people about SOS Events ministry.

She was able to give information about the ministry to several people who are not familiar with what SOS Events does. Also, actually witnessed to one of the vendors with the “3 Things God Can Not Do.”

Pray that God’s Word will bring salvation to this young man’s life.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6

SOS Events Ministry

SOS Events Ministry has grown from a thought in the minds of Tom and Carolyn Curtis, to a large ministry with Teams in 15 States and expecting 2 more in the near future.

Tom and Carolyn traveled in a motor home all around the USA in 2001 stopping at churches explaining how to go to events like fairs, yard sales, community events presenting the Gospel using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.

Little by little the ministry began to grow. Tom went home to be with the Lord in 2016 but SOS Events continues to expand with the Leadership of a Board of Directors and Carolyn Curtis as President.

The Lord is blessing the ministry and all the results come from Him. If God is working on your heart to join with SOS Events to win people to him do not hesitate to contact the home office for more information.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

SOS Events Presentation

Wednesday Evening Service at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida, Carolyn Curtis, Stephanie Curtis, Alice Thomas, Diana Guiliano along with the Sunshine State Quartet had the blessing of presenting SOS Events Ministry to the congregation.

Thank you, Pastor Ivey for the opportunity. This church is already active in spreading the gospel with SOS Events , however, the Pastor wanted to remind the current volunteers and encourage the rest of the congregation to witness for the Lord.

On September 30 they are having a Fall Festival where the SOS Events booth will be the first thing people attending will see. Pray souls will be saved at this event.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:18

Thank You, SOS Events Leaders & Volunteers

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. I Corinthians 3:9

Labor Day Weekend! A time when people in the USA stop to honor workers. The first Monday of September is set aside to give the workers a day of rest and relaxation.

SOS Events Leaders and Volunteers are laborers in God’s fields. They work diligently to bring people to salvation through Jesus.

May God richly bless every person who works with SOS Events Ministry. Especially the Leaders and Volunteers who go to events and lead people to salvation using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.

That includes the Senior Servants who come every month to get the Life Saving News ready to be mailed. The faithful supporters who give so the ministry. Most importantly, the people who pray for SOS Events.
