Pastors need our prayers and encouragement. Lift you Pastor up today with prayer and a good word.
Hebrews 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

The internet can be a tool used by Satan to corrupt people’s minds, it can also be a great blessing. Everyday, when checking the stats on SOS Events blog, it is amazing how many people from other countries follow the posts. Everyday people from all over the world have opportunity to get a message from God, using this website. People from over 90 countries outside the USA have been encouraged. Many go to the Bible Studies or go to the home page to find out the 3 Things God Can Not Do.
This blog started many years ago, with posts only occasionally. Then as the response grew the posts became daily. Thank you to everyone who reads and follows this blog. Our prayer is that Christians grow in the Lord and the unsaved respond to the gospel and be born again. Thank the Lord, Jesus, for the Internet and the opportunity to witness to people all over the world without leaving the office.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Have you ever woke up in the middle of the night, with someone on your heart that you need to pray for? It is just a thought about a person that you may not have thought of in a long time. Maybe it is someone you don’t even know like a person in the news, a political figure or someone on the prayer list from church. Do not ignore that feeling. It is the Holy Spirit prompting you to pray. That person may be going through a struggle, mentally, physically or spiritually. God speaks to us in a still small voice, especially in the night out of a sound sleep and He is using you to pray for someone who needs prayer at that moment.
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The greatest blessing between Christmas and New Years Day was the salvation of a young lady who the Curtis Family has been praying for for months. Carolyn’s grandson came home for the holidays and he brought his girlfriend with him so she could meet the family. They are both in the military and not even stationed at the same base.
She was warmly welcomed by everyone. Jesus birth was one of the main topics of conversation at many of the get togethers. Amanda was very interested and asked many questions about the Bible, Jesus and Christianity in general. No one pressured her but prayed and loved her. When she came to the SOS Events property to see what “grandma” did, she was curious about the “3 Things God Can Not Do.” She also was given a 3 Things tract.
A few days later, she watched a Christian movie, The Cause For Christ, with the family. Later she read the tract and decided for herself that she had waited long enough and accepted Jesus as her Savior. She could not wait to tell everyone, either in person or by phone that she had been saved. Please pray for Amanda, as she will soon be back at her base without any spiritual support from family or friends.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Most of us start our day with a cup of coffee. The most important way to start our mornings though, is to spend it with Jesus. We must not neglect to read His Word and pray. That is a perfect way to start our day along with the coffee.
Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

SOS Events always needs Spanish speaking people to witness at events. Diana, standing beside the Pastor, had the opportunity to teach this group how to use the “3 Things God Can Not Do” display and the ABC’s of salvation in Spanish. Most of the materials that we have has been translated into Spanish. The Pastor was interpreter. He is excited about his people learning how to witness at events and today one of them is going to the Plant City Flea Market. Praise the Lord! Please pray for this group and for many souls to be won in the Spanish community.
Acts 22:15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

If you have not voted yet, today is the day. Then pray that the people who get elected will honor God, Country and Christian values.
I Timothy 2:1-2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

24 decisions for Christ at Eastmont Baptist Church’s Trunk or Treat! Thank you SOS volunteers and many others for praying and sharing. Prayer and dependence on the Holy Sprit is the key to winning people to the Lord at events. In October 517 decisions have been reported to the SOS Events home office. Praise the Lord.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Ursula, on the right, is a faithful SOS Events volunteer who has not had opportunity to work at an event recently because she is the caregiver for her husband. On Saturday morning she cried out to God because she had not been able to win anyone to Christ in awhile. That evening, SOS Events had a booth at Bethany Baptist Church Fall Festival. Only two team members came to work in the booth and they were swamped with people wanting to be saved. There were actually people waiting to see the “3 Things God Can Not Do” and at that moment along came Ursula, who “happened” to be at the event not knowing SOS Events was there. She saw our problem and stepped right up and started to witness immediately. She was responsible for leading several people to the Lord. She is pictured here with a Mom who was saved. (Sorry about the shadow on the photo).
God blessed with 49 decisions in a little over two hours. God not only heard her plea but blessed abundantly more than we could think or ask.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
