Call On Jesus

April 27, 2024

When we call on Jesus, He does great things in our lives. He will take us out of our “comfort zones” and allow us to accomplish things we think are impossible.

Jesus Is The Good Shepherd!

April 25, 2024

We are like sheep. Prone to wander. Defenseless against our enemy. Need a protector.

Jesus is that shepherd. He will not only protect us and give us what we need but He took away our sin when He died on the cross and rose again the third day.

The difference in a sheep and us is that we need to choose to follow Him. Sheep have no choice in who they will follow.

If you have not chosen Jesus yet, do it now!

You Can Have Victory!

April 10, 2024

God’s promise to His children. We can have victory in our lives over the problems we face.

Victory over sin, addiction, sickness and even death. Do our problems disappear? No, not always. But Jesus promised to walk with us through any trial that we face.

He won the victory over death when He rose from the dead. If you are facing a great battle in your life, remember, you have the victory through Jesus.

Do You Have A Heart Of Stone?

April 9, 2024

There are many people who have a stony heart. People who do not want to hear the Gospel or accept Jesus as their Savior.

The good news is that those hearts can be changed. God through the Holy Spirit can break up that stone in the heart. He can change a person and make them a new creation.

If you need to have a new heart, ask Jesus to come in and He will send the Spirit into your life.

A Promise From God’s Word!

Jesus Arose! Hallelujah!

March 31, 2024

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. Matthew 26:1-9

The Tomb Is Sealed

March 30, 2024

Jesus is dead. The tomb is sealed. The disciples are in shock and grief. Is there no hope?

The days between the crucifixion and resurrection must have been really hard for the followers of Jesus. The One they had put their trust in, the One who was going to be King. Confused, sorrowful and disappointed they probably did nothing. Some waited together and others waited alone. People react differently when someone they love dies.

Today there are many people who have the same reaction to Jesus. Some doubt. Some do not believe in Him. Others reject Him. They do not realize what He can do for them.

Today is the day before Resurrection Sunday. Are you like these people or are you excited about tomorrow? The tomb did not stay sealed. The stone rolled away and JESUS arose. Let us celebrate the glorious resurrection not only tomorrow but everyday. JESUS lives…

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

Jesus Death on The Cross

March 29, 2024

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

John 19:17 & 18 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus Prayed In The Garden

March 28, 2024

Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

The Lord’s Supper

March 27, 2024

His death.

It was here He reminded the disciples that they were to remember His death until He comes back.

What a wonderful promise. Jesus is coming back to gather everyone who has trusted Him as Lord and Savior.

Communion does not take away our sin. It is a time of remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross. He died so we can have eternal life.

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior?
