God Forgives Sin

January 25, 2025

Intimacy with God requires a repentant heart. In His love, God says when we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to cleanse us. That cleansing restores our fellowship with Him.

God hates sin because He is Holy and Righteous. Sin is anything we have done that God has commanded us not to do.

All have sinned and come short. You can watch a small child only months old and already they are sinners. Selfishness and disobedience. They will be playing and grab a toy from another child, hit or bite.

Jesus paid the penalty for all our sins if we by faith ask His forgiveness, repent of our sin and put our trust in Him.

Jesus Is Coming!

January 24, 2025

Every time I see a beautiful sky with clouds, I think “I wonder if today will be the day Jesus will comeback.”

He is coming in the clouds to call all who have accepted Him as Savior and we will meet Him in the air. We do not know when, but we should be looking for that wonderful day.

What about the people who have not called on Him to save them. They will be left behind. Times will be extremely hard. They will realize that they missed the opportunity to invite Jesus to be their Savior.

What about you? Looking for Jesus with excitement or rejecting Him?

ALL Things Are Possible

January 23, 2025

Are you facing something that seems impossible? The Bible tells us that with God all things are possible.

Do you lack faith to believe it? Faith comes when we read the Bible. It is the Word of God. The more we read and study the scripture, the closer we get to God and our faith gets stronger.

All things are possible with God!

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Great Is God’s Faithfulness!

January 22, 2025

Do we deserve God’s mercy? NO!

We are all sinners, not seeking God. But, He has great love for us, He sent Jesus to die on the cross, be buried and 3 days later Jesus arose from the dead, to pay the penalty for our sin.

If we accept Jesus as our Savior, then GOD shows His mercy toward us and we are born again.

Great is God’s faithfulness

God’s Creation!

January 21, 2025

To see God’s Glory, all we need to do is look up. The beauty of the moon and stars at night.

A sunrise or sunset. Even in the midst of winter and the snow is falling or a terrible rainstorm, God’s beauty still shines through.

Today, look up and see God’s Glory. Then thank Him for the day that He has made and rejoice in it.

Car Show In Plant City, Florida

January 20, 2025

SOS Events had the privilege of setting up a booth at the Jeep Show at Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Plant City, FL on Saturday.

God blessed the volunteers as they presented the “3 Things God Can Not Do”. People stopped by to listen and 2 attendees received Jesus as their Savior.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 1 Timothy 5:17

What Are You Doing Today?

January 18, 2025

Saturday is a day that many of you have special plans. You may be going on a short weekend trip.

Saturday is a day of shopping or getting together with friends.

To some of us it is the day we clean the house and get prepared for the week ahead.

Whatever you do today there is one thing that all of us should do. Remember that Jesus loves us and goes with us wherever we go and whatever we do.

Have a wonderful Saturday and use this day to bring honor and glory to God wherever you go.

Are You Obedient To God?

January 17, 2025

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The great commission is to go and tell. Bringing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Are you obedient?

Time With God

January 16, 2025

Do you take time with God everyday? The best time is first thing in the morning to start your day with Him.

It may be difficult for you to do. Busy getting ready for work, school or children needing attention.

Try getting up earlier before anyone else is awake. If that doesn’t work for you, set aside a different time for fellowship with God. Maybe on your lunch break, or when the kids are napping.

Not convenient? After dinner in the evening is good.

Whatever time you find is best for you, the important thing is that you take time everyday. Jesus desires time with you and you need Him.

Make it a habit. Do not let anything distract you from your time of prayer and worship. You will be blessed.
