Give thanks to The Lord for good friends. What would we do without them. The best friend we can ever have is Jesus.
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Family is a great blessing! Large or small our family is something to be thankful for. We are especially blessed if our family are Christians. Then not only do we have earthly ties but we have spiritual bonding as well.
If your family or some of the members are not Christians there are still wonderful things we can be thankful for in our relationships to each of them. Think of a good quality in that person. Maybe they have a great sense of humor or are a good example in one area. I think of my alcoholic grandfather, he always tried to help me with problems. My mother who taught me how to be hospitable even if there was not much money or provisions. Be thankful and if they are still living and pray for them. My parents were saved shortly before their deaths after 30 years of prayer. Remember God is faithful and wants that loved one to be saved or restored back to fellowship if they are backslidden.
Ephesians 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Did you remember to set your clock back? When the time changes twice a year from standard to daylight saving time and back again, our bodies take a few days to get on schedule. Many of us would like to see the time not change. Man decided we can change time but there is still 24 hours in a day, created by God. The sun rises and sets, there is light and darkness and seasons.
Sometimes God may laugh at us thinking we can think we change time but the real change will come when we walk on the streets of gold and there will be no night there. Jesus will be the light.
Revelations 23-27 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there
Today one of SOS Events new teams in Tennesee is having their first community event. The Ham Festival will be in full swing in just a few hours. Please pray for souls to be saved, workers to be filled with the Holy Spirit and good weather.
This team led by Bill Newsome did a wonderful job at their churchyard event where the church members were there to pray and encourage. A community event will be totally different for them. They have to rely on God, each other and the prayers of Christians who will not be with them at the event. They are excited and looking forward to see what God will do through them.
Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
“Being judgmental and condemning is not one of the gifts of the Spirit.” Billy Graham
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Today, Carolyn Curtis and her granddaughter Beka, will fly to Pennsylvaina for a training and then tomorrow an event in Lansdale. Pray for safety, a successful training and that many souls will be saved tomorrow at the event.
It is a joy and privilege to Serve the Lord for SOS Events ministry. Your prayers and support encourage and enable the ministry to spread the Gospel to various areas throughout the USA and beyond. Thank you.

Proverbs 3:5&6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
