Do you ever get frustrated over situations where you have no control? Maybe it’s staying home because of the coronavirus, trouble with electronics or misunderstanding between family or friends.
God has the answer in the following verse. we need to have complete trust in Jesus. Look to Him and allow Him to solve your frustrations.
Join with us today as we pray for our government officials. The President, Governors and local leaders that they have wisdom as they make decisions that govern our lives.
Many of you who follow this blog are from different countries. All our government leaders need prayer no matter what their title. The Bible also says, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.”
Yesterday the air conditioner stopped working in SOS Events office and workroom. It was so hot that work could not be done in that office.
One of the neighbors is an air conditioning service man, so he was called. His company only services big commercial buildings, but he was so gracious and came over in the evening after a hard days work.
He found that it was a switch that had shut the unit down and fixed it. He would take no money for his time, but we were able to pray with him for the needs of his family who are having some anxiety over the coronavirus.
Please pray for this family and other neighbors who may be having difficulty at this time.
It is difficult to wait. We are waiting for the time when things get back to normal. When we can go to church, to the grocery store or to our favorite restaurant.
God tells us our strength will be renewed. Do we want things to go back to “normal” or do we want things to be better. Do we want to love Jesus more, appreciate what we have more, witness more, pray more.
Don’t wait to do those things, start now and truly our waiting will not be wasted. With God’s help our strength will be renewed and better than ever.
“Faith is like radar which sees through the fog, the reality of things at a distance that the human eye cannot see.” Corrie ten Boom
Corrie must have had many days when her faith would be tested and she could not see what was ahead. In World War II her family protected hundreds of Jews from death by hiding them in a hidden room in her bedroom. Eventually the hiding place was detected and Corrie was sent to a German concentration camp. But she never lost her faith in God.
After the war she returned to her home and helped concentration camp survivors get rehabilited into a regular life. She wrote many books and became a sought after speaker especially in Christian gatherings. She moved to the United States and died on her 91st birthday in California.
If you feel like you are living in a fog, not able to see what God has planned for you, be encouraged, God has a plan and propose for your life and whatever your circumstances God will bring you through. He sees and will guide you with His eye.
Psalms 32:7-8 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
We like to be in control of everything in our lives. Fear comes when we are in a situation that we can do nothing about. That is where some of us are right now. This coronavirus has caused our lives to be turned upside down and we have no control.
That is where faith is important. God is in control. He knows what we are going through. Sickness, death, cancellations, uncertainty. Now is the time to turn to Him for peace, comfort and most of all trust.
Proverbs 3:5&6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
