In the USA we are blessed to be able to go to the church of our choice. In many other countries this is not true.
Some countries dictate which church the people are allowed to go to. Other countries people are told they cannot go to church at all. These people are in danger if they worship together.
Church is important for our growth as Christians, fellowship of believers and help in time of need.
Acts 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Pray for your Pastor today. Tell him or send him a note to be an encouragement to him.
1 Timothy 5:17 – Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Romans 15:30 – Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in [your] prayers to God for me;

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
You don’t have to go to church, it is a privilege to go to church to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Remember 2020 when we could not go? In some countries people still cannot go to church and worship freely. We are so blessed in America to be able to go to the church of our choice and worship wherever and whenever we want.
Are you not going because it is more comfortable to stay home? If you can get out, you are not sick, not taking care of someone who is ill or you are working, then you should go to church.
Hebrews 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
What do you hear when you go to church? Music that honors the Lord or music that is about you?
Preaching that makes you feel good or preaching that steps on your toes and puts you under conviction?
Do you go to church because it is the thing to do and will give you prestige or you go because you truly want to worship God?
Hard questions, but think about the church you attend and why you are going there.

A good resolution is to worship in church every Sunday this year. 52 Sundays.
God gives us eternal life, peace, joy and blessings. What does he want in return? He wants our worship, obedience, love and devotion.
A great place to worship Him is in a Bible believing church. How will you spend your day today?
