Have you ever been away from your home and felt homesick?
As Christians we should be longing for our permanent home which is Heaven. The cares of this life overwhelm us at times.
Even in good times, like getting married or having a new baby, we should still have a desire to look to our heavenly home, Heaven.
Think about the joy of seeing our Savior, Jesus! Reunion with loved ones who have gone on before us. Not to mention the wonderful plans Jesus has for us that we cannot even imagine.
Jesus has a busy day after His triumphant entry into Jerusalem. He went into the temple and cast out the money changers and merchants, who had turned the place of worship into a marketplace.
Then He was walking with His disciples and saw a fig tree with no figs. He then made the fig tree wither so it never again would bear fruit.
Do we ever do anything in our lives to cause Jesus to be displeased with us? Christian, think about it. Jesus loves us and our salvation is secure if we have accepted Him as our Savior, however, we can do things in our lives that may cause Jesus displeasure. Today, let us confess our sins. He is faithful and just to forgive our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Si confesamos nuestros pecados, él es fiel y justo para perdonar nuestros pecados, y limpiarnos de toda maldad. 1 Juan 1:9
There is a little figurine of 3 monkeys, the first has his hands over his eyes, the second, hands over his ears, and the third, his hands over his mouth.
See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. Good advice for us. If we are careful what we watch and hear we will think before we speak.
The Bible tells us what we speak comes from what we meditate about in our heart. Hid God’s Word in our hearts and our speech will be pleasing to Him as well as to those we are speaking to.
Salmos 19:14 – Sean gratos los dichos de mi boca y la meditación de mi corazón delante de ti, Oh Jehová, roca mía, y redentor mío.
Pastors have burdens that are far above the average Christian. They need to be renewed by the Spirit everyday. Family, church congratulation, administration and many things that are heavy on their hearts, especially at this difficult time in the world.
Your Pastor has to make hard decisions about when to open doors of the church to everyone, should we sing, should we have class, what about the children. I need to protect my family.
Please lift your Pastor in prayer. And really bless him by asking what you can do to help. A kind word or a note might make the difference in his life today.
We live in a world full of trouble. Wars, disease, pestilence and natural disasters.
That brings fear into the hearts of many people, even Christians. God tells us to fear not. Have faith in Him.
Do you have little or no faith? A verse from the Bible for you.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20
Y El les dijo: Por vuestra poca fe; porque en verdad os digo que si tenéis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis a este monte: “Pásate de aquí allá, y se pasará; y nada os será k. Mateo 17:20
