This verse is one of God’s precious promises for the born again believer. SOS Events desires to win as many people to the Lord as we possibly can so they can have the assurance of a place in Heaven.

This is a photo of Diana’s front lawn at her home on Halloween. She set up for Trick or Treat and she had 25 decisions for Christ before the evening was done. 10 adults were saved who came with their children, 13 children were saved and 2 children received assurance of their salvation. It is amazing what God will do with one person who is willing to step out of their comfort zone and witness for the Lord. One night and the results were more than most churches do in a year.
SOS Events has many ideas to help you make a difference in the lives of people around you. Do you make a difference in your neighborhood?

Halloween, A Time to Witness
October 31, 2016Halloween is a day that originated to ward off evil spirits with bonfires and sacrifices. Today it is a time when children trick or treat and adults party. Some people love Halloween and others hate it, but however you feel about today as Christian we can use it to witness for the Lord.
If children come to your house for trick or treat be sure to give them a tract along with the candy. SOS Events participates in many Halloween alternatives at churches and community events. Diana (our office manager) sets up a “3 Things God Can Not Do” display in her yard every Halloween and has seen many children, teens and adults come to know the Lord in the last several years. Be a witness and use this opportunity for God’s glory. Also please pray for many souls to be saved on this night the busiest in the year for SOS Events all around the USA.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Today the blog is in memory of Tom Curtis, founder of SOS EVENTS Ministry. He would have been 80. He was a man who loved God and was a great witness for the Lord. His desire was not only to see souls saved but to get other Christians to be soul winners.
Mission accomplished in his life. SOS Events has seen over 50,000 souls saved in 15 years and hundreds of Christians trained and witnessing all over the USA and beyond. So while we miss him today we celebrate his life by releasing balloons with tracts hoping that whoever finds a balloon will read the tract and be saved.

Be a Witness
October 26, 2016Today is Wednesday. Witness to someone. Hand out a tract, ask a person if they know the 3 things God cannot do, text or write an unsaved friend and tell them how you got saved. There are many ways to spread the gospel. Try just one of them today.

Two Birthdays
October 13, 2016Today is one of my son’s birthday. It is wonderful to celebrate the day he was born, but there is a more important day that is celebrated in our family. That is the day that he was born again. We celebrate his life here on earth and that is wonderful, but the real joy is knowing that we will be able to spend eternity together.

Transformation
October 4, 2016Re-painting a room can transform it into something Beautiful. That is like a persons life, dark and then Jesus transforms us into new creations.
