Whatever you do today, do it foe the Lord!
SOS Events has several events today. As our volunteers go to witness and tell about Jesus, they go with gladness and expectation.
Whatever you do today, do it as a service to the Lord. Work or play we can honor Him.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Why and how do you serve The Lord Jesus?
A slave serves because he has to.
An employee serves because he needs to.
A Christian serves because he wants to.
Every Christian has a commitment to tell others how they can be saved. Jesus tells us to go.
If you are in the Tampa, Florida area you have the opportunity to learn how to witness.
SOS Events Ministry will train you to go soul winning at events, to your family and your neighbor.
If you are out of the area, there are some training videos online. The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is a simple way to present the gospel at an event or individually as you’re talking to your friends, family or acquaintances.
Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
The United States of America was founded on the Word of God. The founding fathers gave us freedom OF religion, NOT freedom FROM religion.
Christians, we must pray that our country turns back to God.
Many other nations also need to honor God the Creator. Our whole world is in trouble.
The first step if you are not a Christian is to put your faith in the Lord Jesus. He blesses individuals as well as nations. That is a good place to start.
His name is Jesus.
There may be reasons you can’t go to church today. Illness, work or weather may prevent you from being in church. Many places in the Northern United States have cancelled church today because of snow, ice and dangerous driving conditions. If you cannot go use this time to gather round your family and read the Bible and pray together. If your are alone what a great opportunity to fellowship with the Lord without distractions.
Some people have not attended church service for months because of coronavirus. There are many opportunities for you to worship virtually. Do not neglect time to worship, not just on Sunday but everyday of the week.
Psalms 29:2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Sometimes we get discouraged. Whether we work for the Lord, or our every day secular jobs.
God’s word has much to say about work. God tells us to be strong, to not be weary in well doing for we will reap if we faint not.
His promise is that our work will be rewarded.
Christian, whatever work you do, do it heartily for the Lord.
Colossians 3:23 – And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
The great commission is to go and tell. Bringing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Are you obedient?
The Bible tells us many times to be careful how we speak. Sometimes it is not what we say, it is how we say it.
Let us work on speaking kind words and edifying, not discouraging.
Ephesians 4:29 – Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers
