SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have a group of ladies that come faithfully once a month to help get out the newsletter. Yesterday, 18 worked diligently and by 11:30 everything was finished. Thank you Senior Servants for the work you do.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
We have joy when our adult children take time out of their busy schedule to stop over or call. Their fellowship is precious. Our Heavenly Father wants the same thing from us, His children. God wants to hear from us everyday. He loves to hear about out joys and also our troubles and sorrows. The wonderful thing about Him is He is always with us just waiting to hear and answer our prayers. If you have not talked to Him in awhile stop and pray right now. Fellowship with Him is the most precious blessing.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Psalms 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Sunday, the Lord’s Day and in America we have the freedom to go to the church of our choice. We are blessed. Our Country’s leaders gave us the freedom to worship as we please. As we worship today let us give thanks for our freedom to worship whenever and wherever we wish. God wants us to worship Him with our whole heart.
Psalms 35:18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
We are blessed in the United States of America to have freedom of religion for our lifetime. Jesus gives us freedom from our sin for all eternity.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Last week SOS Events was blessed to have 14 decisions at the Plant City Flea Market but God did one better yesterday with 15 souls, the youngest was 8 years old, the oldest 45. Praise the Lord! Fifteen more people saved and on their way to Heaven.
James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
In this photo you will not see Brother Scott’s face, but what you do see brings great joy to SOS Events cofounder, Carolyn Curtis, heart. Brother Scott is witnessing in front of the old Palace movie theater in Lockport, NY, Carolyn’s birthplace. She has not lived in Lockport for 50+ years and God used her to bring a witnessing team to her hometown. Praise the Lord.

SOS events is blessed to have two young ladies Mckenzie and Kiera working in the office this summer. Both the girls are 12 years old and have learned office skills, are having great fellowship together and also have learned to witness using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”. Mackenzie let her friend Sydney to the Lord over the phone and followed up with her by giving her a Bible and doing a Bible study. What a privilege for SOS events to have an influence on young girls lives.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
God blessed Randy and Alice yesterday at the Plant City Flea Market with 14 souls. In spite of heat, humidity and chance of rain. These 2 faithful SOS Events Ministry missionaries continue to do what God called them to do and God gave the increase. Usually William, the only one who speaks Spanish is with them but he was out of town this week.
1 Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
There is an old chorus “Make Me A Blessing”. When you are a blessing to others by a phone call, text message, email, note or visit, you will find that not only do you give a blessing but you are the one who has been greatly blessed. The most wonderful blessing you can give anyone is to lead that person to Jesus.
Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
