Yesterday, God blessed En Fuego Event with over 270 decisions reported by SOS Events leaders. Praise the Lord!! He is the one who draws the people to Himself. Thank the SOS Events Alabama team for their faithfulness in soul winnng at events. Thank those of you who prayed for this great event.

When traveling or in dangerous situations we have a protector, Jesus our Savior. Today let us give Him thanks for His protection.

SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have this group of Leaders and workers in Alabama. These are just a few of the many soul winners that are excited about spreading the gospel in Alabama and beyond. From this core group in Montgomery the ministry has grown to many other areas in the state.

Yesterday it was extremely hot in Florida, but the faithful team was at the Plant City Flea Market as they are every Wednesday. Praise the Lord for faithful workers and 2 decisions to follow Jesus.

The definition of happy in Webster’s Dictionary: feeling pleasure and enjoyment because of your life, situation, etc. Happiness depends on what is happening around you, so if the situation changes it can be lost.
Joy according to Webster : a source or cause of great happiness : something or someone that gives joy to someone True joy is inward, a gift given to the Christian by God. Joy continues through all circumstances and does not depend on what is happening around you and it is permanent.
Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
The SOS Events office will be a little quieter today. The two girls, Kiera and Mackenzie, who have been working in the office for the summer now will go back to school. We will miss their chatter and smiling faces. What a joy and blessing they have been as they worked diligently and completed many important tasks. Our prayers will be for them as they study and grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
God blessed the SOS Events Tennesee team with 12 decisions at the annual Family Fun Day hosted by Community Baptist Church. Left to right, David (a new team member), Bill (team leader), Pat, Carolyn (cofounder SOS Events) and Charles. Pray for this team that they will grow and participate in several events with the busy Fall season approaching and that many souls will be saved in Tennessee.

A great Bible verse and so true. God has done great and mighty things for SOS Events in the years since 2001 when it began.
SOS Founder Carolyn Curtis, Alabama SOS CoFounder, Dale Brown and myself (Patty Mills) had the pleasure of hanging out with Phillip Cook, Carey L. Waldrop and the Faith Rider crew last night. What a great group of Jesus loving guys and gals. May God continue to bless those who put His kingdom first, sharing about His Son.
