A whimsical welcome to the last month of the year, December. A time in the busy holiday season to take time to look up to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. He is truly the secret to a wonderful life. (Let’s not keep Him a secret, tell someone about Him at every opportunity)

This week there will be a series of Bible verses giving thanks to God for His bountiful blessings.
Carolyn Curtis is thankful for opportunities to update SOS Events Ministry to supporting churches. Today she will be in New Jersey at Faith Baptist Church. This church has been a great friend to SOS Events and many souls have come to Jesus with the faithful members there.

With all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season there is a very important Holiday that gets shoved in the background. Christmas decorations go up the day after Halloween and everything focuses on Christmas (not the true meaning but the materialism).
The true American Holiday, Thanksgiving is all but forgotten, unless of course it is for the feasting on turkey and the trimmings.
Thanksgiving. Thanks. Giving. It is a day when the focus should be on giving God the thanks for the bountiful blessings He has given to us.
Let us take time this coming week to thank The Lord for all His blessings.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
SOS Events Ministry has had opportunity to go into all the world via the website. Reaching people with the gospel in 92 Countries and growing. People have searched for Bible lessons, topics and have been directed to SOS Events webpage. Thank the Lord for these opportunities to get His Word to people all over the world.
November is the month that in the USA we celebrate Thanksgiving. We need to be thankful everyday not just one day a year. Especially when we are facing problems in our lives is the time we need to stop and reflect on how good God is to us. Here is a challenge for you… every day for the rest of the month thank the Lord for at least 3 things to be thankful for. Try to find mew things each day. You will find your spirits lifted and your relationship to God will be closer each day.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
