This question was answered in the Bible when Sarah was told in her old age she was to have a child. Sarah laughed.
Sarah did have a child when she was 90 years old and her husband was 100. The child was named Isaac, which means laughter.
Is anything to hard for God? No. The story of Sarah should give us hope and assurance when we are going through things in our lives that seem impossible. Nothing is impossible with God.
SOS training at First Baptist of Nesbit, Mississippi. Bob and Ginger Hansill, SOS Events Trainers and Team Leaders, went from Florida to Mississippi last weekend. Their goal was to train new volunteers to present the gospel using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
This church has a great opportunity to reach people for Christ. God blessed the church with property where they have state of the art soccer fields. The whole community comes to play soccer on these fields. The tournaments were scheduled.
53 people came to the training, excited to use their new knowledge to win people to the Lord on the weekend.
Then the storm hit! Tornado warnings, destruction and even death in parts of Mississippi. The soccer fields were flooded and all the games cancelled.
They are not giving up! Everything is rescheduled and these volunteers are ready to go! Pray for the events that will take place this week and in many weeks and months ahead. This will be an ongoing venue to win souls.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6
The way to overcome sin: First you must accept Jesus as your Savior. Then read and memorize God’s Word.
This verse tells us if we hide God’s Word in our hearts we will not sin against God.
All our sins are forgotten if we have trusted in Jesus death, burial and resurrection.
It is important for us to daily read the Bible and take time to communicate with God through prayer.
If we are born again, God has also done something wonderful for us! He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and be our teacher, guide and He will lead us in the right path.
On Saturday SOS Events Ministry held the 5th Annual Celebration. It was a great success. Music by Danny Riddle and then the Sunshine State Quartet. Food, fun, photo booths and many other activities celebrated what God has done through SOS Events the past year.
All praise and glory belongs to the Lord for His faithfulness bringing people into the knowledge of salvation through SOS Events Ministry.
It was a joy to see many new faces at the event this year. People who have worked winning others to the Lord for the first time this past year. Some people came who are interested in learning more about SOS Events and how to witness at events.
God truly has blessed this ministry and we do celebrate all He has done.
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1
The Bible has the answer to the age old question. What happens after we die? This one verse in the book of Romans tells us.
We will all stand before God for judgement. He is just and righteous. We will get what the Bible calls wages. If our sins have not been forgiven, we will receive death in the lake of fire.
The good news is, God provided a gift for all of us, if we will accept it. Eternal Life! Through Jesus. His death, burial and resurrection.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7: 13&14
“If you wish to know God, you must know his Word. If you wish to perceive His power, you must see how He works by his Word. If you wish to know His purpose before it comes to pass, you can only discover it by His Word.” (C.H. Spurgeon)
Many people from all over the world have an opportunity to study God’s word on SOS Events home page. If you have not used the Bible studies by Porter Barrington, do one today. Each one will give you knowledge and more understanding of God and the Bible.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11
