Reports are coming in to the home office of SOS Events of the many souls saved this past week. The home trick or treat displays were simple but wonderful. Stephanie in Ohio was the only one on her street giving candy and she had 4 Salvations. Diana after a late start in Florida had 17 decisions. This is her 7th year to have a display in her yard and God has richly blessed. These ladies not only gave out candy but the gift of eternal salvation. Praise the Lord for all the new Christians.
2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

Ten decisions to follow Jesus at the Car Show in Plant City yesterday. Even though the crowd was small God blessed SOS Events Ministry with 8 Salvations and 2 assurances. A big thank you to David who came to help Carolyn set up, went out of his way to bring water and get things started. Then the volunteers came. Ursula, Mark, Richard. These workers have a heart for souls and GOD blessed their efforts with 10 decisions.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Sometimes problems turn out yo be a great blessing. Carolyn Curtis’s office was filled with mold and mildew from a roof leak after the severe rains. The roof leaked and damage went unnoticed for several weeks because the water was coming into the interior walls and did not show other damage. The roof is now fixed, the mold and mildew gone, everything is like new even the beautiful office furniture (bought on Craig’s list). A nice place to welcome visitors and continue the work that Carolyn does for SOS Events Ministry. God is so good. Praise the Lord for turning this problem into a blessing.
Psalms 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Pat with some children who made decisions at the Ham Festival in Tennessee yesterday. The children are filling out decision cards and will receive Bible studies through the mail. Also, the local church will follow up with them and what an opportunity to bring whole families into the church. (We always get parents permission to talk to the children)

Why are SOS leaders and volunteers so passionate about this ministry? Because of men, women and children…like Nikki.See this handwritten testimony of Nikki J., 12 years old? She accepted Christ at the SOS booth at the Trail of Tears event this past Sat in Waterloo, Al.
Will you join us in praying for her and the 36 others who made decisions for Christ at this event and for the SOS Leaders and Volunteers who “went” and shared the gospel?

Praise the Lord for the 22 decisions in Royersford, PA yesterday. Steve Slater is the team leader in there, and he and two SOS Events team members did a wonderful job witnessing for the Lord. Continue to pray for this team as they have another event in two weeks. Steve and his wife Shirley also have an active nursing home ministry. Praise the Lord for faithful laborers.

There have been several new babies born recently into the families of SOS Events Ministry staff. It is a wonderful blessing to see these newborns grow. Within a month or two they are already learning new things and look totally different then when they were first born. The same should be true for new Christians. When they are born again they are like new babies. They should be growing in the knowledge of the Lord. Their talk should be different and even their appearance changes. In August SOS Events had the privilege of seeing almost 800 people make decisions for Christ. They will all get Bible studies and the local churches will also do follow up. Pray these new babes in Christ will grow into mature Christians.
1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Yesterday, God blessed En Fuego Event with over 270 decisions reported by SOS Events leaders. Praise the Lord!! He is the one who draws the people to Himself. Thank the SOS Events Alabama team for their faithfulness in soul winnng at events. Thank those of you who prayed for this great event.

“We would like to give God all the Praise and Glory for the 8 decisions at The Soap Box Derby in Dadeville Alabama on Saturday August 19th. It was a great day being about the Lords business and we met some great people. We were honored when the director of the event asked Wesley to open the derby in prayer.
