What do you need? Strength, healing, money, job, spouse, answer to prayer? Everyone has a need of some kind.
Even when everything is going well we still have needs in our lives, the good news is that God can supply all our needs if we will trust Him with our problems.
The key to this verse is Jesus. Only through Jesus can all of our needs be met.
Mark 11:24 – Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Last night at the Clay County Fair in Ashland 3 young ladies ages 14,14 and 16 gave their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Oh how the Angels rejoice over souls being saved.
As I watched them walk away my heart was heavy at the world they are having to grow up in and how hard it is to shine your light for all to see with so much darkness. I have to know God has His hand on them and will see them through .
As I write this post this afternoon I am heartbroken over the senseless loss of life at a birthday party for a 16 year old last night in a small town just down the road from us that took the lives of 4 teens and injured so many more.
I know this is not my usual after an event post but I just pray that every one reading this and their kids have made Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of their lives because we truly don’t know if we’ll have another opportunity to tell them that Jesus is our only hope.
Beth and Wes Walker are Team Leader in Alabama. They oversee many of the events in Alabama. This report was was written by them this weekend.

D. L. Moody became a powerful evangelist because as he preached he had a group of people praying for him and thousands of people were saved though his ministry.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
Most of us start our day with a cup of coffee. The most important way to start our mornings though, is to spend it with Jesus. We must not neglect to read His Word and pray. That is a perfect way to start our day along with the coffee.
Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Little things. Are you concerned about little things? Maybe it is something you have misplaced and it is really bothering you.
Wondering what to wear or worried about a conversation you are going to have with a loved one or friend. All these daily little things that get in the way of the important things.
Worry is a sin. The Bible tells us to cast our care upon the Lord. Does He care about the little things? Yes. Nothing is too small for Him to help you with, pray about everything.
Five questions to ask yourself when studying God’s Word from Pastor Jonathan Watson in Appomattox, VA:
“Simple questions I try to ask myself every time I study God’s Word.”
– Is there a sin I need to confess?
– Is there a promise I can claim?
– Is there an attitude I need to change?
– Is there a command I need to obey?
– Is there an example I can follow?
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart
