Jesus, Triumphal Entry

April 2, 2023

Hosanna!! The people shouted as Jesus entered Jerusalem, riding on a donkey.

Palm leaves were laid in the path, honoring Jesus. Little did they know they were honoring the King of kings and Lord of Lords.

By the end of this week things will change. The people will be shouting a very different phrase.

A lesson for us. Do we honor Jesus one day and on another day turn away from Him when something happens that makes us think He is not who He is.

Our Savior, redeemer, and comforter. Jesus deserves all our honor, praise and worship.

And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Mark 11:8&9

Jesus, Our Savior

April 1, 2023
1 John 4:14 – And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

GOD, sent His Son, JESUS to be our Savior. The next week as we look forward to resurrection Sunday, we will focus on Jesus, the One who died on the cross to pay the penalty for all our sin.

1 John 4:14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Death or Life?

March 24, 2023

The Bible has the answer to the age old question. What happens after we die? This one verse in the book of Romans tells us.

We will all stand before God for judgement. He is just and righteous. We will get what the Bible calls wages. If our sins have not been forgiven, we will receive death in the lake of fire.

The good news is, God provided a gift for all of us, if we will accept it. Eternal Life! Through Jesus. His death, burial and resurrection.

Have you received this wonderful gift?

SOS! People in Distress!

March 16, 2023

That is a good question. If you are a Christian it is your responsibility to tell others about Jesus.

Do not let people drown in their sin. The life saving news is this. Jesus died on the cross, was buried for 3 days and rose from the dead.

If they trust Him, whose blood cleanses us from all sin they will be saved.

Wonderful news. Be sure to tell someone at every opportunity.

“That if thou shall confess with thy mouth and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9

Have a Blessed Wednesday!

March 8, 2023

Midweek is a time we need renewal. We get tired and need a Word from the Lord so we can finish the week with His blessing and strength.

We need filling of the Holy Spirit to help and guide us. Hunger and thirst for a close relationship with Jesus and He gives us what we need.

Alabama Blessing!

“For whosoever (you) shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Oh what a beautiful day at Santuck Flea Market under the SOS Events Ministry tent!!

The Lord was Glorified and lifted up in a mighty way with 14 people surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!!

Ms. Alicia prayed to rededicate her life to Jesus with a greatful and tearful heart ❤

We were able to pray for several people who were burdened by the trials of life and pray for family members who were suffering through sicknesses.

We were so blessed to have the new volunteers from Gateway Baptist Church and our first group of Spanish speaking volunteers today at the market.

It was a great day and we are so greatful to be able to Serve Our Savior!!

Strawberry Festival Opens Today!

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Please pray for many people to be saved in the next 11 days at the SOS Events booth at the festival.

Tell Me The Story Of Jesus!

February 25, 2023

There is something special about old hymns. This one written by Fanny Crosby in 1880, tells the whole story of Jesus life. It is scripturally sound. Read the words, listen to the song and worship Jesus in your heart. You will be blessed.

  1. Tell me the story of Jesus,
    Write on my heart every word;
    Tell me the story most precious,
    Sweetest that ever was heard.
    Tell how the angels in chorus,
    Sang as they welcomed His birth,
    “Glory to God in the highest!
    Peace and good tidings to earth.”
    • Refrain:
      Tell me the story of Jesus,
      Write on my heart every word;
      Tell me the story most precious,
      Sweetest that ever was heard.
  2. Fasting alone in the desert,
    Tell of the days that are past,
    How for our sins He was tempted,
    Yet was triumphant at last.
    Tell of the years of His labor,
    Tell of the sorrow He bore;
    He was despised and afflicted,
    Homeless, rejected and poor.
  3. Tell of the cross where they nailed Him,
    Writhing in anguish and pain;
    Tell of the grave where they laid Him,
    Tell how He liveth again.
    Love in that story so tender,
    Clearer than ever I see;
    Stay, let me weep while you whisper,
    “Love paid the ransom for me.”
  4. Tell how He’s gone back to heaven,
    Up to the right hand of God:
    How He is there interceding
    While on this earth we must trod.
    Tell of the sweet Holy Spirit
    He has poured out from above;
    Tell how He’s coming in glory
    For all the saints of His love.
