What is the greatest thing that keeps us from obeying God?
Partial obedience is the answer. Read the story of Saul in 1 Kings 15.

SOS Events is blessed to have dedicated people all over the USA. Yesterday you were asked to pray for workers and the Lord answered prayer. Carl from Alabama is coming to help close the Strawberry Festival and Stephanie from Pennsylvania is coming to help with the opening. They are team leaders from their area. Old hymns that have been sung in our churches for years are wonderful. Some of the new worship songs speaks to the heart but let us not stop singing the hymns of the past. They speak volumes of how great God is. We need the old along with the new.
Just read the words of this great hymn and make it a prayer of worship today.

Traveling through several different states in the car and having theopportunity to see how wonderful and diverse God’s creation is, makes me appreciate the beauty of His handiwork.
Florida has its beautiful sandy beaches, Tennessee with its many lakes and hills, Kentucky has wonderful grazing land for horses, Ohio with its quaint barns, and New York rural areas with its lush green mountains makes me realize how great God is. He made everything beautiful for us to enjoy. Sometimes we get so busy we forget to look around and take time to appreciate all that God has done for us. Today stop for just a minute and look around at the beauty. Maybe just a small thing like a flower, a butterfly or just watch bees collecting pollen. God is great in the big things He created but He is just as great in the small things.
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
“God Will Carry You Through” is the title of a book by Max Lucado. Not necessarily one of my favorite authors but I found this book on my bookshelf with a personal note from my husband, Tom Curtis, who went home to be with the Lord one month ago today. (This book sat on the shelf for 2 years and I never picked it up until today)
How special and wonderful is the Lord. The note said, “The Lord showed me this book. Read it before you write the blog. I love you. Tom”
How perfect. The blessing is to know That God will carry me through and He will carry you through each problem and difficulty in life. The Bible has so many wonderful verses to help in every situation. All we have to do is trust Him and claim the promises in His Word.
