Story of What Happens at an SOS Event

A girl came up to the SOS Events booth in Indiana and said, “This is the place where you get 2 birthdays.”
“Yes, said the person that was showing the display with the “3 Things God Can Not Do.” Are you 50, 75 or 100% sure if you died today you would go to Heaven?”
She answered, “I’m 100% sure.”

“How about your friend?”

The friend was not sure but wanted to be, so they went back and sat down at one of the soul winning tables.

After the young man prayed to receive Christ, the girl said, “Tomorrow is my spiritual birthday. Last year in this booth I was born again. I have 2 birthdays.”

What a blessing. When people come back after a year or more and confirm their faith, and to know that God uses ordinary people who partner with SOS to win people to the Lord.

SOS can use people in all areas of the USA and beyond. Come join us.

Definition Of What Church Is!

If you are physically going to church today or watching a service virtually, one thing to remember, we worship our Heavenly Father.

It is wonderful to be in the family of God. Today, pray especially for your Pastor and the leaders of your church. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill them to preach the truth. People need to be saved and become part of the family of God.

1 John 3:1-2 – Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Prayer

Jesus prayed often, and He gave us what we call the Lord’s prayer.

If you have difficulty finding something to pray about pray the prayer that God gave us. In that prayer is what we need every day.

We need food, we need forgiveness of our daily sins, we need to forgive others. Everything we need is in this prayer.

Most important of all we need to to honor our Heavenly Father in everything we do.

Once we start praying we will know what additional things we need to pray about.

Another Wonderful Friday Evening In Ohio

God blessed once again at the Car Show in Perrysburg, Ohio last evening. Ed and Rhonda reported 11 people accepted Jesus as their Savior. In just 1 1;2 hours. Praise the Lord!

A total of 128. Decisions this year at the Car Show on Friday Evenings, if the weather continues to be good they should be able to continue for another month or two.

In this photo, Ed is showing this couple the ABC’s of Salvation using a clipboard. It is one of SOS Events tools to win people to the Lord when space is. Limited or time is short.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:15

Opportunities

Carolyn Curtis attended the Business Expo yesterday. What an opportunity to talk to people about SOS Events ministry.

She was able to give information about the ministry to several people who are not familiar with what SOS Events does. Also, actually witnessed to one of the vendors with the “3 Things God Can Not Do.”

Pray that God’s Word will bring salvation to this young man’s life.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6

SOS Events Team Leaders

God has blessed SOS Events with some wonderful Team Leaders. They work diligently to make an event successful.

It is their responsibility to find an event in their area. Then they secure a place at the event for an SOS Events booth.

They contact their volunteers and make a schedule for the workers,

On the day of the event the Leaders make sure all the materials needed are supplied and are at the event on time.

Then usually they volunteer themselves to work at the event. Making sure everything is going smoothly.

At the close they make sure all supplies taken down and returned. The decision cards are recorded and sent to the home office.

Most of all they pray for the people who have been saved at the event and encourage the volunteers who have worked to see souls saved.

To all the Team Leaders with SOS Events, THANK YOU! You are the key for the many people who come to know Jesus as their Savior. May God grant each of you special blessings as you work for Him.

Great is God’s Faithfulness!

Every time I read this verse it reminds me of God’s care and blessings. He is faithful. Guiding through times of hardship and times of joy. He will do the same for you if you put your trust in Him.

So Many Opportunities!

There were so many opportunities for Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, this past weekend at the James Dean Festival in Indiana.

Not only the blessing of winning people to the Lord, (the biggest blessing) but speaking at a Missions Conference at Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser on Thursday evening.

Then at the Festival on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday another opportunity at New Hope Church in Gas City, where she gave her testimony to the adult Sunday School class, and gave a brief report about SOS Events in the church service.

Why all the activity? Salvations of souls is the first priority. Then new teams of volunteers for the Indiana area. At the festival at least 2 people expressed desire to get involved in witnessing with SOS Events.

At Liberty a gentleman wants to find more volunteers and create a new SOS Team.

At New Hope a lady from another area in Indiana goes to a church that will begin to use SOS in her church this October.

God blesses whatever we do if we do it for Him. Praise the Lord for all the blessings of he past weekend.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:17

James Dean Rod Run, 134 Salvations!

James Dean Rod Run Car Show is over, but the lives of 134 people as Christians are just beginning.

God gave the SOS Events Team wonderful success on the weekend. Beautiful weather, great teamwork and most importantly opportunity to witness and bring others to Jesus.

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. He is the one who draws the people to the SOS Events booth.

As we lift up the name of Jesus, He draws people to us.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
