November Closes!

November 30, 2023

Whatever happened in November is now passed. Tomorrow, December 1st is the beginning of the busiest month of the year for some of us.

Mothers preparing gifts for their children for Christmas, grandmothers baking, teachers trying to keep children in order as the holidays approach, businesses having parties and all the other activities that happen in December.

STOP! As you prepare to do all the things to get ready, the most important thing is to keep Christ in Christmas.

Take time every busy day to get alone with God and trust Him with all the plans you are making.

In those plans make room for Jesus. Talk about him to your children. Honor Him by baking a birthday cake for Jesus. Be a testimony to your coworkers at work.

Make December all about Jesus!

John 5:23. That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which sent him.

Send God A SOS!

November 10, 2023
SOS Events logo. Serving Our Savior.

Sometimes, we have to send out an SOS to the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to answer. An acronym for how to get prayers answered follows:

Sincere: it is important that we are sincere when we pray. God knows our heart and He knows if we really desire what we are asking for.

Obedience: we must be sure we are obedient to God’s word. There must not be any known sin in our lives.

Specific: we must be specific and tell God exactly what we need.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest

Do You Have 2 Birthdays?

November 9, 2023

Jesus said that you must be born again to see the Kingdom of God.

Are you 100% sure if you died today you would go to Heaven?

How can you be born again?

Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and 3 days later He arose.

You must believe that Jesus paid the penalty for your sins and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Be willing to repent, and trust Jesus tor forgiveness of ALL your sins.

That is your second birth. You will have 2 birthdays. You physical birth and your spiritual birth.

Are you born again?

God Will Provide!

October 20, 2023

God Will Provide! what a wonderful promise. God supplies all our needs and He even supplies some if not all of our “wants”.

If you have a need today, spiritual, physical or financial, sincerely ask God for it, making sure your heart is right with Him, and He will give you that need.

He will also give you the desires of your heart if it lines up with His Word and His will for your life.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalms 37:4

Troubled About The Chaos In The World?

October 19, 2023

We look at the unrest and upheaval in the world and it causes some of us us to worry.

A wise man once told me that worry is a sin. God wants us as Christians to trust in Him. He has the situation under control.

Does that mean He will stop all war, fighting, sickness, poverty, and problems in the world? No, but he does tell us that He will go through whatever happens with us.

He wants us to feel His peace no matter what the circumstances.

So today, put your trust in the Lord Jesus and ask Him to help you to trust Him for that peace.
