Pray for Your Pastor Today

September 19, 2021

If you have a Pastor who preaches truth from God’s Word, is not afraid to tell of the sin that may be in your life, warns of evil that may entice you to sin, be thankful. Pray for him that he will have the power of the Holy Spirit, that he will not be afraid of offending someone when he is bold to tell the truth.

Encourage him with a kind word or send him a note once in awhile. Tell him you are praying for him and appreciate what he does.

1 Timothy 5:17 – Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Hebrews 13:17 – Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

It’s Time To Put On The Armor

September 17, 2021

We live in troubled times. Christian, it is time we stand up and be ready to fight against the evil that is over taking not only America but the world.

Our enemy, the devil is working to cause division in our families, our churches and in the workplace.

Jesus wants us to be strong and at the same time love one another. It almost seems like a contradiction, but it isn’t.

Jesus Himself was strong, yet, He always had love and compassion. His last words were, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

9/11

September 11, 2021

Today is a day of remembrance. Remembering the people who died on 9/11/01. It was a sad day for America.

Did we learn anything? Today, it seems our country is in a darker place. Instead of coming together to strengthen America we have drifted apart. Divisions. Politics, racism and vaccines.

The Bible tells us this will happen, but there is an answer.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Jesus Is Coming! Are You Ready?

September 8, 2021

Jesus is coming. It may be today, tomorrow, next week or next year, but it can be very soon. Are you ready?

Have you decided to invite Him to be your Savior? His blood cleanses us from all sin. He died and rose again and is coming for those who have believed and put their trust in Him.

Tomorrow may be too late!

It’s Not What We Do, It’s What He’s Done

September 4, 2021

We think what we do will get us to Heaven, but it’s not what we do, it’s what Jesus did when he died on the cross. He paid the price for ALL our sin.

Nothing we do, all our “good” work will never be enough to have our sin forgiven.

We owe everything to Him. When we work doing something for Him, it is out of gratitude and our love for Jesus. It does not count to get us to Heaven. Only trusting in Jesus alone will give us eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast

Not By Power or Might

September 1, 2021

Have you ever tried to do something and you utterly failed? You failed because you were doing it in your own strength.

The Bible tells us it is not by our power or strength, but by the Holy Spirit.

God wants us to take our failures and fears to Him and the Holy Spirit will turn those failures into success if we give it all to Him.

Be Still

August 26, 2021

Be still. In this busy time it is difficult to stop and listen to God. We read God’s Word, we pray, but do we take time to listen?

Probably not. Try it for just 5 minutes. Clear your mind and surroundings of all distractions.

It is amazing. Bible verses flood your mind. Maybe just silence. Total peace and relaxation.

Your relationship with God will be strengthened. Try being still today.
