Memorial Day Weekend!

May 23, 2026

As we pause this Memorial Day weekend, we remember with deep gratitude those who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for others remind us that freedom is never free.

We also honor our veterans who faithfully served and our active military who continue to stand watch, protecting and defending our nation. Their dedication, bravery, and willingness to serve deserve our respect and heartfelt thanks.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we not forget the price that has been paid and the men and women who continue to serve.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13

A Beautiful Partnership in Reaching Souls

May 18, 2026

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Source of Light Ministries, the ministry in Georgia that faithfully sends Bible studies to many of the people who make decisions for Christ through SOS Events Ministry.

While there, I met Carla, a missionary with Source of Light who helps process and send out the Bible studies connected with our ministry. She was so excited to meet us and to hear firsthand about the lives being touched through SOS Events.

What made the visit even more special was hearing this amazing testimony. Carla’s in-laws live in Perrysburg, Ohio, and their neighbor attended the Friday night car show where the SOS Events team ministers each week. Through that outreach, the neighbor trusted Christ as Savior!

Now, that same neighbor is continuing to grow in the Lord by studying the Bible lessons provided through Source of Light Ministries.

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

Honoring Tom Curtis, Cofounder of SOS Event

May 15, 2026
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8

Yesterday was the anniversary Tom Curtis going home to be with the Lord.

Tom was a very special man. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a wonderful husband, a good father and a loving grandfather.

His greatest accomplishment was cofounding SOS Events and ministry.

Tom had a vision. His goal was to see teams of soul winners in every state of the USA.

Today, the ministry still continues to grow, and those of us who knew Tom honor his memory.

Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
— Matthew 25:23 KJV

Have A Blessed Sunday!

May 3, 2026

Sunday morning is a gentle reminder from the Lord to quiet our hearts and turn our eyes toward Him. Before the week begins and the noise of life rushes in, God gives us this moment to rest in His presence, to worship, and to remember His faithfulness.

No matter what this past week held, today is a fresh gift. His mercies are new this morning. His grace is enough for today. And His presence is the strength we need for whatever lies ahead.

Take a moment today to thank Him, trust Him, and rest in the peace only He can give.

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
— Psalm 118:24 KJV

The Joy Of Witnessing!

April 30, 2026

Once again God is blessing the weekly Plant City, Florida Flea Market with manybpeople trusting Jesus as their Savior at the SOS Events booth.

Thank you faithful volunteers!

What a joy to be the person who witnesses to someone and that person decides to accept the Lord and leaves knowing they will spend eternity with Jesus.

If you are shy about witnessing, SOS Events has the answer. The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is an effective, non confrontational way to present the Gospel.

Let us help you have the joy of leading someone to the Lord

Sunday, A New Day. A New Week.

April 26, 2026

Sundays have a way of slowing us down and reminding us where our strength truly comes from. Before the week begins again, the Lord gives us this day to rest, reflect, and remember that we do not walk alone.

No matter what last week held—joys, burdens, victories, or disappointments—God is still faithful. His mercy is still new. His promises are still true. And His strength is still enough.

Today is a gift. A day to lift your eyes, quiet your heart, and worship the One who has carried you every step of the way. Let this Sunday be a gentle reminder that God is not only with you today—He is already waiting in every tomorrow.

Walk into this new week with peace in your heart and praise on your lips. The same God who kept you yesterday will lead you tomorrow.

Put Your Hope In Jesus!

If you lack joy, God wants to fill your life with joy unspeakable.

Need peace? God will give you peace that passes all understanding.

God is the GOD of hope. Put your faith in Him. Our only source of hope is in Jesus..

It’s Friday!

April 17, 2026

As Friday arrives, many of us look ahead to the weekend with anticipation—time to rest, gather with loved ones, and prepare our hearts for Sunday. But before we rush ahead, Friday gives us a quiet moment to pause and reflect.

What has this week held? Blessings, challenges, opportunities to serve, and moments when the Lord carried us through. Friday is not just the end of the week—it’s a reminder to finish well. To thank God for His faithfulness and to place anything unfinished into His hands.

The same God who walked with us Monday through Thursday will be with us through the weekend ahead. We can step forward with peace, knowing He is guiding every step.

Let this Friday be a time of gratitude and trust—resting not just in the weekend, but in Him.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3

SOS Events Around The World!

April 15, 2026

This past week, something amazing happened—over 275 people from Hong Kong, China, another 137 from Singapore, and visitors from more than 50 other countries came across the SOS Events website.

Just think about that for a moment… people from all around the world, different languages, cultures, and backgrounds, all connected by one simple thing—the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

We may not be able to travel to every nation, but God has opened a door through technology that reaches where we cannot physically go. Every visit is a soul, every click a chance, every moment an opportunity for someone to come to know Christ.

It reminds us that the mission field is not just across the ocean—it’s also right at our fingertips.

Let’s continue to pray that each visitor not only sees the message, but receives it… and that God uses SOS Events to shine His light into every corner of the world.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
