National Day of Prayer

May 2, 2024

Today is a day set aside for prayer. Be thankful that we live in a Country that still sets aside a time to pray.

We are blessed to have the privilege of freedom to worship.

Take time today to pray for the USA. Pray for peace. Pray for leaders that will continue to uphold our freedom.

Pray that people will turn to the Lord for salvation. Jesus is the only true way we can have peace.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

All the things in this May Blessing can be yours. Jesus can give you all. Happiness, Health,safety, comfort, strength, courage, healing, peace, joy, and loving kindness.

Trust Him to bring blessings in your life.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

God’s Promise To His Children

Do you ever feel like you are ready to give up? Maybe you have physical or financial problems. Trouble with family, friends or coworkers.

God gives us many promises in His Word. Isiah 40:29 is a great encouragement to anyone who is discouraged.

God’s Word is reliable. We can trust Him to give us strength and power to rise above our circumstances.

Blessings At Talladega NASCAR Race

April 22, 2024

Oh what a weekend sharing the Gospel under the SOS Events Ministry tent at Talladega Spring Race.

This is Cody all the way from Fairmont Illinois , he came to the races this year with two of his friends that got saved under the ministry tent 7 years ago.

When they came by to visit this gentle giant came in front of the SOS board and said “I’m only 10 percent sure if I die I’m going to Heaven”and that’s because of these guys in my life. Cody gave his heart to Jesus as Lord and Savior and will begin his walk with Christ with lots of prayer and Bible study.

Earlier in the day Colton and Matt who had seen us last year at the Lineville Car Show made the Best decision Ever and are now Born Again, seeds planted over a year ago were harvested in the most unlikely place to hear about Jesus, the Talladega Race.

In all 3 people surrendered their lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior and all the Glory is given to God for these precious souls saved!

And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23

Flea Market In Plant City, Florida

SOS Events is blessed to have faithful volunteers who give their time and energy to Serve Our Savior at the Flea Market in Plant City on Wednesdays.

This week one person accepted Jesus as his Savior.

Sometimes there are many who come to Jesus, other times one or maybe no one on that day.

The volunteers go witness. 1Thessalonians expresses their dedication.

April Showers, May Flowers

The old saying “April Showers bring May Flowers”. Do you ever feel the rain is too much in your life? Sickness, sorrow, losses to numerous to mention. God knows all about our problems and He can restore Flowers in our life. The special things about the months of spring are all the new life around us. Fruit trees blossom, tulips, daffodils new foliage all around. God does that in our lives, also. He can change beauty from the ashes. All we need to do is ask Him. We cannot change the situation, but God will always walk with us through the trials.

Proverbs 3:5&6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.

The Hunt

There were over 1500 people hunt for 24,000 eggs at The Hunt Saturday at Valley Forge Baptist in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

SOS Events were there and recorded 6 professions of faith, glory to God!

We are so thrilled to be graced by so many members of the community – for the sake of the gospel!

To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. 1 Corinthians 9:22&23
