Praying together is a great blessing! God is there. He answers all prayers, if you pray alone or with someone else.
But, from this verse we see that He especially is with us when we have another person with us. Agreeing together for our needs and the needs of others.
What a tremendous blessing. If you do not have a prayer partner or group, find someone that will pray with you regularly.
This is the theme for SOS Events Annual Celebration this year!
The celebration is a thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly at event throughout the year.
It is also a time when we celebrate what God has done the past year. All the people who have been saved, the new volunteers, and events that have taken place.
Each person who has a part in SOS events shines for Jesus. Volunteers, Team Leaders, Prayer Warriors, and Supporters. A special thank you for your service. Hope to see you at the Celebration on March 28.
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3
God blessed the SOS Alabama Team led by Ronnie Burlison at the Mt Top Flea Market Atalla, Alabama with 19 salvations.
This included 5 adults, 12 teenagers and 2 children. It is always interesting how many different age groups are among the people who stop at the SOS Events booth and listen to the gospel and respond.
Ages are recorded because each new Christian receives an age appropriate Bible study. That is one of the ways SOS Events follows up.
Also, the information for each person is sent to a local church for personal follow up. Praying each one will grow in their new faith.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
Florida Strawberry Festival has ended for another great year. God blessed the SOS Team with 238 salvations.
Praise the LORD for these new Christians. Praying for each of them. The Bible tells us they are like new babies. They need to be fed, cared for and grow.
They will receive Bible studies but they need more than that. A good Bible preaching church and mature Christians to guide them.
Praying God will direct them to the right place where they will be fed.
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.1 Peter 2:2
Sometimes the task in front of us feels bigger than we are — whether it’s leading, serving, stepping out in faith, or simply facing another day. But our strength is not in ourselves. Our courage is not in our personality. It is in His presence.
If God has called you to it, He will walk with you through it.
So today, don’t shrink back. Don’t let fear make your decisions. Stand strong, move forward, and remember — you never go alone.
Isn’t it comforting to know that God is already working before we even form the words?
Sometimes we carry burdens quietly. We think through the problem, we rehearse the prayer in our mind, and before we ever say “Lord, help,” He is already moving. This verse reminds me that our Heavenly Father is attentive. He is not distant. He is not distracted. He is listening — even to the unspoken cries of our heart.
There have been many times in my life when the answer showed up before I realized I had truly prayed about it. That’s just how good God is. He knows the need. He sees the concern. And He lovingly responds.
Today, whatever is on your heart, be encouraged. You are not trying to get God’s attention — you already have it.
SOS Events volunteers were at the Plant city car show on Saturday. God richly blessed their faithfulness with 10 people who made decisions to follow the Lord.
God answers prayer, the classic car is running well and is a good draw for people at car shows. God has provided drivers to get the car there and volunteers that give us their time and talent.
We are especially grateful for the 10 people who trusted Jesus is our savior and now pray that they will continue to grow in their new faith.
“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23
