One thing everyone on this earth has that has been given in equal measure. Time. 24 hours in every day. How much of your time is spent for Christ? We are banking treasure in Heaven for eternity. How much is in your Heavenly bank account?
1 Corinthians 3:12-15

Fear Not
July 10, 2014The Bible tells us not to fear over 365 times, and yet we do fear many things. Children fear the dark, monsters or snakes. Teens fear how their peers accept them. Young adults fear the present, job security, finances, relationships. Old people fear illness, poverty, and loss of loved ones.
All that and more sounds hopeless but there is Good News. We have Someone who is willing to take all our fears, problems and worries. His name is Jesus. All we have to do is give all our cares to Him and allow Him to work out the solution.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

of 19 decisions were recorded from flea markets in Florida this past weekend. Praise The Lord.

America the Beautiful

“America the Beautiful” was written by Katherine Lee Bates in 1893 from the summit of Pikes Peak. She wrote the lyrics but the music was written by Samuel A. Ward. He died in 1903 one year before the words and music were put together. The two never met.
Katherine gave hundreds if not thousands of permissions to have the song published in hymn books and pamphlets and the song became an American favorite. Many wanted it to become the National Anthem instead of the “Star Spangled Banner” and the debate still goes on today.

How Is Your Prayer Life?

Proud to Be an American

As Christians we need to be proud to be Americans. We have responsibilities as citizens. Stand up for our freedoms given to us by the constitution. Vote so that the government is run by leaders of our choice. Teach our children and grandchildren, first the principles taught in the Bible, then the history of the USA.
Ephesians 6:14-17
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
