Pastors have burdens that are far above the average Christian. They need to be renewed by the Spirit everyday. Family, church congratulation, administration and many things that are heavy on their hearts, especially at this difficult time in the world.
Your Pastor has to make hard decisions about when to open doors of the church to everyone, should we sing, should we have class, what about the children. I need to protect my family.
Please lift your Pastor in prayer. And really bless him by asking what you can do to help. A kind word or a note might make the difference in his life today.
2 Chronicles 7:14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This is a beautiful photo of freedom we have as Christians. The rainbow is God’s sign of His promises. The horses are running free under His protection.
We may feel a lack of freedom right now because of all the rules and restrictions due to this coronavirus, but we are free. We have an awesome God who we can communicate with no matter where we are and we are free.
Psalm 119:45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
America’s Independence Day is just 3 days away. There are many Bible verses about freedom.
The first freedom that is the most important in our lives, no matter where we live, is the freedom from sin. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are truly free from the eternal punishment of our sin.
We are assured of a home in Heaven and not the final death in the lake of fire. Praise the Lord for freedom from the punishment of sin. We are truly free.
This is reposted from 2014 but even better today in this uncertain time in which we live. JESUS is the answer no matter what the circumstance.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. John 10:28-30
Revelation 15&16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
After the rain, God gives a beautiful rainbow. Yesterday, over the lake in Florida one of the wonderful rainbows appeared.
It reminds us of the promises of God:
Genesis 9:11-15 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
