2 Timothy 1:3
I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

Each Day
November 14, 2014We Thank God
November 9, 20141 Thessalonians 2:13
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
October-November are two of the busiest months of the year for all the workers at SOS. Reports keep coming in of souls being saved at events. Sometimes there will be 2 or 3 events going on the same day.
We are thankful for each person who receives the Word of God and makes a decision to follow Him.
We are thankful for every worker who will go and present the Gospel. The soul winners are of all ages, a few teens, young adults and some even into their 80’s. God has truly blessed SOS Events Ministry and we Praise Him for all that He does. We go and He gives the increase.
Fear by John Westley
October 28, 2014“Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not whether they be clergymen or laymen, they alone will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon Earth.”
-John Wesley
Psalms 111:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever.
Prayer Request
September 23, 2014One of SOS Senior Servants needs your prayers today. This sweet lady has been part of the volunteer group for several years. In fact she was the first woman to come to help SOS with our Senior Servants ladies.
She is ready to go home to be with the Lord and needs to go home peacefully and without suffering.
Please pray for Dorothy and that her family will have the peace that God gives in times of trial.
Psalms 116:15

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Four Bible Verses
September 8, 2014Homeless Man
August 23, 2014“Christian character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you.”
Waiting for a prescription at the pharmacy, a man came up to me and ask for some money. It was a very hot day in Florida, close to 95 degrees, but this man had on a heavy jacket and winter hat. He was not an old man, but looked it because of his long unkept beard.
I told him, “Out in the parking lot there is a red car with a man sitting in it, go talk to him, he has the answer for you.”
When I came out of the store the man saw me and followed me to the car.
I asked him why he did not come to the car earlier, and he told me he was afraid.
Tom was so gracious to that homeless man, giving home some suggestions where he could find a place to sleep and get a good meal, gave him a small amount of money and most important prayed with him for salvation and also that The Lord would bless him in the future.
People need The Lord and many need prayer. If you have a prayer need call Tom at 813-784-8242. This is a new ministry of SOS Events and several people have called, emailed and written for prayer.

Peter
July 16, 2014Do you ever think about the people in the Bible? They were human just as we are. They had the same problems, feelings, faith, doubts that we have. For the next few days we will look more closely at a few of these people.
Without question, the Apostle Peter was the disciple most of us can identify with. A fisherman, ordinary person, one minute he was walking on water by faith, and the next he was sinking in doubts. Impulsive and emotional, Peter is best known for denying Jesus when the pressure was on. Even so, as a disciple he was dearly loved by Christ, holding a special place among the twelve.
Peter, often a spokesman for the twelve, stands out in the Gospels. Whenever the men are listed, Peter’s name is first. He, James, and John formed the inner circle of Jesus’ closest companions. These three alone were given the unique privilege of experiencing the transfiguration, along with a few other extraordinary revelations of Jesus.
After the resurrection of Christ, Peter became a bold evangelist and missionary, and one of the greatest leaders of the early church. Passionate until the end, historians record that when Peter was sentenced to death by crucifixion, he requested that his head be turned toward the ground because he did not feel worthy to die in the same manner as his Savior.
Matthew 4:18-19
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea:for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
