STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
2008 Strawberry Festival is now completed.
240 people made decisions for Christ. We are so thankful for each person. The oldest was a lady 88 years old and the youngest was 6.
One exciting thing happened with two young boys who came in the booth to be saved. As Tom was filling out the card (we get name, address, age, phone # and a short testimony from each person who makes a decision) the 2 boys came back, each one holding the arm of their mother. One of the boys actually pushed his mother into a chair so Tom could tell her and their father how to get to Heaven. Both Mom & Dad received Christ and what a joyful time that was for this family of 4.

Ten churches participated in the 11 day event. 74 Christians who were trained by SOS.
This is reposted from 2008. Why? To show how important it is to be involved in soul winning at events. In 3 weeks is another opportunity to win souls at Strawberry Festival in Plant City, FL. If you live in the area you will miss out if you don’t take advantage of the event the Lord has given you to participate.
If you do not live in the area you can be a blessing by praying. Pray for souls to be saved, for the trainings of new workers, for the workers as they witness and the staff that sees that everything runs smoothly.

October-November are two of the busiest months of the year for all the workers at SOS. Reports keep coming in of souls being saved at events. Sometimes there will be 2 or 3 events going on the same day.
We are thankful for each person who receives the Word of God and makes a decision to follow Him.
We are thankful for every worker who will go and present the Gospel. The soul winners are of all ages, a few teens, young adults and some even into their 80’s. God has truly blessed SOS Events Ministry and we Praise Him for all that He does. We go and He gives the increase.

One of SOS Senior Servants needs your prayers today. This sweet lady has been part of the volunteer group for several years. In fact she was the first woman to come to help SOS with our Senior Servants ladies.
She is ready to go home to be with the Lord and needs to go home peacefully and without suffering.
Please pray for Dorothy and that her family will have the peace that God gives in times of trial.

Rain, rain go away! In August the Car Show in Plant City was cancelled and in September the Car Show was cancelled because of rain. However, at the Big Top Flea Market people come rain or shine. SOS is rejoicing in the five souls saved on Saturday in spite of the rain.
