God is good! He is merciful to His children. Whatever the trouble we have as born again Christians, we can still sing of His power and His mercy toward us.
Disaster, sickness, loss of property, money and even the death of a loved one, God is always there. Walking with us through whatever trouble we are experiencing. He shows His mercy in many ways.
He uses people to be there for us. He will bring something unexpected to us to lighten our problems.
So today, whatever you are going through, take time to thank the Lord for His mercy.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
Grateful! That is how I feel today. Coming home to view the destruction of the property that the hurricane, Milton did.
I am amazed. All around there are fallen trees. On the SOS Events office, the carport where the classic car and my personal vehicle is housed. (Both vehicles not damaged)
The SOS Events office has a gigantic tree that took out an attached air conditioner, leaving a hole in the wall and roof. The tree still needs to be removed so repairs can be made.
Then there is my home, in the middle of it all and it is perfect. Not touched by the storm. It looks like God put His hand on the house and would not let the wind or fallen trees touch it.
I look up at the tree that hangs over the house. Huge branches fallen everywhere but not on the house. GRATEFUL! Thank you, Lord for your care and protection.
Thank you to the volunteers who came and cleared what they could.
I appreciate everything that has already been done.
There is still much to do but God will provide what is needed.
There were 9 salvations at the last car show in Perrysburg Friday evening with the Ohio SOS Events Team , which brings the total for this year to 217 salvations!!!!
There was also a man from Ukraine who prayed the prayer of salvation. What a way to end the car show season!!! To God be all of the glory!!!
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Romans 11:36
17 salvations tonight!!! Praise God!!! Thank you for your prayers!!! That brings the Ohio total to 181. I know we have never seen these high numbers in Ohio.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16
But you know what, most of the time people don’t sing the songs purely and simply because they don’t know them.
Churches today try to bring in music to attract a younger generation. They bring in the new popular songs that the young people listen to on the radio or other media.
What about the old hymns? Amazing Grace, In The Garden and hundreds of “old” Spirit filled music that even a small child can learn.
If the new music is what is being sung then teach the congregation the words and melody if you want them to sing. And be sure there is a message in the songs being taught.
Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone to please God?
Sacrifice. That’s what it takes. Giving your time, talent and resources to communicate the Word of God to others.
Praise is the first step. Only through praise and prayer can we accomplish God’s will for our lives.
Today, ask God what He wants you to do. Be ready for Him to show you. It will take some sacrifice, but the reward of pleasing Him will far outweigh any sacrifice you can give.
If God gives you the privilege of traveling. Wherever you go you will see the beauty God has created.
Not only the natural beauty, but the wisdom that God gave to man to develop ways to travel. Planes, trains, boats, cars, buses and various ways we can get from one place to another.
Then, there are the wonderful man made structures. Monuments, buildings, churches and all kinds of artifacts.
If you can travel in person or see the wonders on TV, books or magazines, as a believer, it is easy to see God’s wisdom and praise Him for His wonderful creation.
