January 27, 2018Sometimes, we forget to thank God for all the things that he does for us all the time. Things like keeping us safe when we travel, giving us food and shelter and all of our needs. We don’t think about the little daily things until something happens and we don’t have them anymore. People that have lost their homes because of disaster, like fires or floods. Lost love ones, through sickness, accident or old age. Today, let us look around and see all the things that we have. And praise God for all the little things.
Psalms 104:33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

(Isn’t that what advertisers tell us when they change a product?). Check out the website later in the day or tomorrow. It will be much faster to get to the blog and you will find it easier to navigate. Tell your friends to look us up and thank you for coming to our site. New posts everyday.. We give God all the glory for all He has done for SOS Events throughput the years.

January 5, 2018Today is a special day for Tom and Carolyn Curtis. It is our 15th Wedding Anniversary. You may not think that is so great but it is really a miracle. Both of us were traveling alone after the loss of our spouses, working for the Lord in different ministries when we met. Tom went to Iowa and I traveled the East coast for a year after we met. Then we worked in a ministry together in Florida for a short time. I had been praying for Tom and about the relationship for the whole year. (Tom had no clue.)
When we married Tom had many health problems and had been told by doctors that he had only 3 years to live. That was back in 1995. He was reluctant to marry in 2001 but God directed him and we have been blessed with a wonderful marriage.
God then led us to begin SOS Events Ministry and in 15 years hundreds of Christians have been trained to serve the Lord, over 60,000 souls have made decisions for Christ and at least 2 other ministries have been started with the training of SOS.
God took two ordinary people and for 15 years has blessed us with a good marriage and a great ministry. So today we Praise the Lord for the blessings He has given and I still believe in miracles.
(Tom went home to be with the Lord 4 months after this was posted 2 years ago, but the blessings continue on.)

Halloween Salvations
November 1, 2017Reports are coming in to the home office of SOS Events of the many souls saved this past week. The home trick or treat displays were simple but wonderful. Stephanie in Ohio was the only one on her street giving candy and she had 4 Salvations. Diana after a late start in Florida had 17 decisions. This is her 7th year to have a display in her yard and God has richly blessed. These ladies not only gave out candy but the gift of eternal salvation. Praise the Lord for all the new Christians.
2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
