Pastors are under attack today in every denomination. They are attacked from within their own church by disgruntled attendees and from without by those who don’t even attend or aren’t members of the church.
Some things you may not know about Pastors. Every Pastor has some of these problems.
Pray for your Pastor and do something to show your appreciation for him. Write a note, email or text him if you are fortunate enough to have his personal number.

Pastor Mike Grover and his wife Cheryl are a great blessing to their family, friends and community.
He is a man of prayer and compassion for others. He preaches the Word of God and has a desire to see people saved and then to grow in their walk with the Lord.
If you have a Godly Pastor, thank the Lord for him today. Pray for him and his family. Pastors have a life that is filled with blessings, but they also have trials like everyone else.
They are responsible not only for their own family, but also for their congregation.
Today prayers go up for Pastor, Mike, and the many other Pastors that are on my prayer list. Will you join me as we pray for them? Pray for blessings, wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit as they preach the Word.
Pray for the people that listen will have hearts that are ready to hear. That unsaved will come to Jesus for salvation and Christians will be convicted of sin and live a life pleasing to God.
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2

Your Pastor needs your prayers. Pray he is filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray he will be bold to preach the truth.
Listen to him. Apply the message to your heart. Go from church refreshed and renewed.
Jeremiah 3:15 – And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding

“May we not say with pessimism, “Look what this world is coming to but may we shout with praise, “Look who has come to the world.”
There is redemption in the ruin. Where sin did abound, grace did much more abound.
My friends, Jesus is the answer!”
Words of wisdom from Pastor Jonathan Watson, a Pastor in Virginia.
Today be thankful for Pastors that speak and preach with wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for your Pastor today as he preaches God’s Word. He needs your prayers and encouragement.
Make it a priority every Sunday to pray for the leadership in your church.

Today I want to thank Pastor Grover, lead Pastor of Fellowship Church in Thonotosassa, Florida. He reached out to his congregation to help with anything people need in the aftermath of the hurricane, Milton.
My property, especially the SOS Events Office had multiple trees and debris everywhere. The volunteers from the church came and got as much as could be done to help get access to the buildings and the cars that were covered with trees and branches. There is still much work to be done, but what a wonderful show of love and care from this Pastor and the other Pastors and volunteers from Fellowship.
Thank you who are still volunteering to help everyone who has a need at this time.
Pray for the Pastors in your community today. They go through the same trials in life that we do, but also have the weight of all their congregations to deal with. Thanks to their families who have to share the burdens, most of the time they are left to deal with it as their husbands leave to help others.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Pray for your Pastor. May he have the power of the Holy Spirit as he preaches. May he be a man of prayer.

On the TV program, “Family Feud” hosted by Steve Harvey, the question was ask of 100 people.
Family Feud: “Name someone you have to be nice to even though you don’t like them.”
Answer #5: “Pastor”
Steve Harvey: “How are you going to church and don’t like the Pastor?”
That is supposed to be funny, however, that is a very serious question for a believer.
In all seriousness, as your Pastor prays and prepares to stand in the gap to deliver the Word of God, I encourage you to pray for him, support him, and pray God does a mighty work through him!
Jeremiah 3:15 – And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Your Pastor needs prayer today. The burden that a Pastor carries can be overwhelming.
Family, congregation, financial responsibility and the many things that can cause stress can cause discouragement. There is nothing the enemy loves more than to see a Pastor want to give up or fall into temptation to sin.
Pray for wisdom, filling of the Holy Spirit for your Pastor. Let him know you are praying for him. It will encourage and be a blessing.
