True Love

February 7, 2015Next week is Valentine’s Day. We think of it as a day to show love to the person or persons we love. We send cards, candy, flowers or a gift to that loved one. Nothing wrong with expressing love to people we love. In fact we should show our love 365 days a year to everyone we hold dear.
The greatest love we can experience in life is to accept the love that God showed to us when He sent His Son, JESUS, to die on the cross and pay the price for our sins.
The next few days the focus will be on LOVE. The Bible has much to say about this subject.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Faithful Servants

This is a photo of a few of SOS Senior Servants. They meet usually on the first Thursday of every month. Yesterday, the majority consented to meet next week instead to allow Carolyn to go with her husband as he spoke to another group of Senior Citizens in Lakeland.
The meeting went well. A great thanks to SOS Senior Servants for their faithfulness and love for SOS Events ministry.
God expects us to be busy for Him even after reaching “retirement” age and these ladies have been faithful to His Word.

Too Busy

This quote was accurate 100 years ago, how much truer it is today. Are you too busy to pray? Lack power in your life? What about your church?
It is the command to every Christian and every church to win people to Christ but it cannot be done without the Holy Spirit power, which comes from prayer.

Answer to Prayer
January 30, 2015
Pastor Jose and wife Maria with Tom at SOS office Thursday evening. This Pastor is an answer to prayer. His first language is Spanish and speaks English fairly well.
He has a small Hispanic church and wants to win souls at a flea market in Lakeland, Florida.
Once again God is sending people to expand the ministry and win souls to Himself. There is a great need in this area as there is a large Spanish population. Pray for Pastor Jose and his members that they will be successful as they witness for Christ.

Invitation
January 29, 2015God sends you an invitation to a stress free life. Everyone except the very young has stress in their life, today. Health, finances, family, job and a variety of other problems can wreck havoc in our lives today.

World Mission
January 27, 2015SOS Events was founded in 2001 with the intention of winning souls in the USA. Only 2 people were with the ministry then and now in 2015 there are over 500 trained soul winners who go to events each year. Over 50,000 people have made decisions for Christ in the USA. All the glory goes to The Lord Jesus.
The thing that is most amazing is the outreach SOS has had on the entire world through this blog everyday. Thousands of people from over 80 countries have visited this site just in the last year.
God took the little plan of two ordinary people and turned their vision into a worldwide mission.

How are we doing?
January 23, 2015Looking through past posts, the following blog was found, posted over a year ago. How are we as a nation doing? Things have not gotten better, only worse. Unrest all around, not only in the USA but world wide. Wars and rumors of wars as the Bible predicted.
“The USA is in trouble today because the leaders are looking for wisdom in the wrong places.
They have no understanding of what wisdom is, they seek answers from man instead of turning to God. We have banned God from our schools, taken the 10 Commandments off our buildings and forbidden prayer at public events. Will we wake up in time or continue down this path of destruction?”
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
