This photo was taken at the home of Larry and Loraine Warner, SOS Team Leasers in Michigan.
This Team is relaxing and celebrating the successful Curwood Festival that was held in June. They were blessed with 26 decisions to accept Jesus.
The smiles on their faces is wonderful to see. They gave of their time and obedience to God’s command to go and tell others of His great love. Now it was time to reflect on the blessings of Serving Our Savior together.
“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”

God’s Word Is Never Wasted!

Sometimes when an SOS Events Team goes to an event it seems like nothing happens. No one accepts Jesus as their Savior.
The crowd is small, or the venue is not a place that people can come to the booth easily. It feels like nothing happened.
The volunteers were faithful and gave out the gospel to those they could talk to and God blessed His Word.
The tract that a person received gets read later and that person accepts Jesus in their home. A Christian stopped by and wants to become part of the SOS Events Team.
God’s Word is powerful. All God asks of us is to be faithful and obedient to tell others and He will bless His Word given out by us. The outcome is not up to us, God will use His Word to accomplish what He intended.

Sometimes SOS Events has many volunteers and the Teams are large. There are places that the teams are very small. In New York the team consists of one man, Joe. Joe is faithful and he has been with SOS Events for many years.
Sometimes he does have a few volunteers to help and Doug, who volunteers in NY and Florida, drove many miles to be with Joe at the Strawberry Festival in Albion, NY. God mightily blessed yesterday with 16 people trusting Jesus as their Savior.
God always blesses our faithfulness and obedience to GO and tell others about Jesus. Please pray that others in New York State will get a burden for people who are lost. Pray for more SOS Events Leaders and volunteers.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Curwood Festival in Michigan

June 1st to the 4th the Curwood Festival in Owosso, Michigan took place. The SOS Events Team was there excited to see what God would do.
The event was a great success. 26 people invited Jesus to be their Savior. God also blessed Team Leaders Larry and Loraine with new Team volunteers.
God is so faithful. He always blesses SOS Events Ministry with events in areas all over the eastern and southern USA. The ministry is growing with new areas and especially with new volunteers.
Jesus, Our Savior and Healer

Jesus is able and willing to save us from all our sins, just as He did with the man who suffered from palsy.
Jesus not only forgave him of his sin, Jesus healed the man and he walked out completely whole. What a wonderful Savior.
Why?

Do you ever ask that question? Yesterday, Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS ministry, was all ready to go to church. Everything went wrong. The worst thing was her home in Florida was extremely hot. Then she realized that her air conditioning was not working.
What to do on a Sunday? Usually it takes a long time for repairman to come so she called the company that installed the air conditioner to get an appointment.
All ready to go to church, in the car about a mile from the house when her phone rang. It was the repairman who said, “I will be there in 20 minutes.”
Stephanie and Carolyn turned the car around and headed back to the house. Why? What reason would there be for not being able to attend church?
The young repairman got to the house, and at first could find nothing wrong. But Dylan was a conscious person and decided to look again.
Thankfully, he did find the problem and resolved it. Why did all this happen on Sunday morning?
Carolyn took just a few minutes to explain the “ 3 Things God Can Not Do“.
God is in control and the great blessing Dylan invited. Jesus into his heart to be his Savior.
Whenever you’re hindered from doing something you know is right, remember God is in control and He has something more important for you to do.
