SOS Events Team Members from Mallow Bible Fellowship went to the Home and Garden Show.
God blessed them with 10 decisions to accept Jesus. Pray that these new Christians will go to Bible Fellowship Church. This is the only Gospel preaching church in Mallow.
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Paul tells us in the book of Philippians that he went through many trials and afflictions, and whatever happened to him good or bad he can trust Jesus to give him strength.
That is true today. If we trust Jesus, He will give us strength to do whatever He wants us to do.
This verse can become your prayer for yourself each day.
We want to please the LORD in everything we do and say. The problem is we cannot please Him unless He helps us.
Our words comes from our heart the Bible says “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man” (Matthew 15:18)
James 3:11 tells us that we speak both sweet and bitter words. So, how can we please God when in ourselves we cannot control what and how we speak?
The key is in the verse in Psalms, our words comes from our heart. We need to have a pure heart.
If we have a problem with harsh words, cursing, gossiping, yelling or lying, all sins that does not please God, we need to confess that sin, ask Jesus for a heart that is pure. Meditate on His Word, ask Him to help us when we fail. Jesus is our strength and our redeemer!
How do you start your day? Get up, grab breakfast in a hurry and rush out the door. You are stressed and feel frazzled.
The better plan for a good day is to start your day with Bible reading and prayer. No time you think. Get up earlier before everyone starts to need you. It is worth the effort.
Quiet time with the LORD is essential. Your day will go much better.
We can rejoice everyday because the LORD made the day. There are days that we may not feel like rejoicing.
But this Psalm tells us of all the things God has promised to His children. Even in tough times we can rejoice because God is with us.
So today, if you are having a great day, rejoice. If your day is full of trouble or sorrow you still can still rejoice in the LORD because of what He has done for you.
Everyone who is saved has a story. How did you come to know the Savior, Jesus?
There are many testimonies that have been told:
A man who went by a church, heard the music and walked in, asked the usher how he could be saved.
The little girl who went to church and when the alter call was given followed the soul winner out of curiosity and trusted Jesus as her Savior.
The man whose lost his son in a tragic accident. Before his last breath, the son asked his Dad, will I see you in Heaven?
The person who was about to commit suicide and picked up a tract, read it and was wonderfully saved.
What is your story? You need to tell it. Write it down. Tell it to someone in person or through social media. Your story could touch someone’s heart and be the very thing that will cause them to accept Jesus.
