Every time I see a beautiful sky with clouds, I think “I wonder if today will be the day Jesus will comeback.”
He is coming in the clouds to call all who have accepted Him as Savior and we will meet Him in the air. We do not know when, but we should be looking for that wonderful day.
What about the people who have not called on Him to save them. They will be left behind. Times will be extremely hard. They will realize that they missed the opportunity to invite Jesus to be their Savior.
What about you? Looking for Jesus with excitement or rejecting Him?
Someone captured this beautiful photo. Who it was is unknown but maybe God wants us to be reminded that Jesus is coming in the clouds and we who are redeemed by trusting in His death, burial and resurrection will meet Him in the air.
We do not know the day nor the hour but it may be soon. Are you ready?
1 Thessalonians 4:16 – 4:17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16
Jesus promised that He will return to take those of us who know Him as our Savior to be with Him eternally.
Then He will come back to earth and reign as King. He is King of kings and Lord of lords.
After the wise men’s visit, Joseph was warned in a dream to take Jesus and Mary and flee to Egypt.
Herod was seeking to kill Jesus and not getting a report back from the wise men he had all the young children in Bethlehem killed. But Jesus was safe and the little family stayed in Egypt until Herod was dead.
Then once again Joseph had a dream and returned but went to live in Nazareth where Jesus grew from childhood until He started His earthly ministry.
God’s Word is true. Every prophesy concerning Jesus birth was fulfilled down to the last detail. Many people leave Jesus in the manger as a baby but do not believe future events also predicted in the Bible. Jesus is the Messiah, He did die on the cross and He is coming again to rule and reign over all the world. Are you ready for a great future with Jesus the coming King?
Matthew 2:13-15 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
25 days until Christmas. To some that is exciting. Children waiting, anxiously waiting. Will it ever come.
Moms and Dads are thinking, so soon and so much to do.
Older folks may not welcome the day so much. Maybe they are alone or away from loved ones.
Whatever your expectations about Christmas, it will come.
Looking back to the birth of. Jesus. He was expected for years. People looked forward to His coming. When He did enter the world it was not as a king as they expected, but as a little baby in a lowly manger.
He was born to die. He grew up, died on a cross and rose again. Then after appearing to many He ascended into Heaven.
He will return. This time as King. Are you looking and waiting? Just like Christmas past, Jesus is coming again!
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13
Have you ever been excited about a special guest or loved one coming to your house?
You prepare by cleaning, cooking and making sure everything is ready. maybe you don’t know the exact time when they will arrive. Looking out the window, listening for every car or footstep to make sure you are there to greet them.

Titus 2:13 – Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
Looking forward to something special. The dictionary definition: the act of looking forward especially: pleasurable expectation
Are you looking forward to an event in your life that causes you to have great anticipation? Maybe it’s an upcoming birthday, a wedding, a new home or a dream vacation.
Sometimes we look forward to something and it is even better than what we expected. Other times, things are a disappointment.
There is one event that every Christian should be looking forward to with great anticipation. That is the day when the Lord, Jesus comes in the clouds and we will meet Him in the air.
Many people read this post. Some are from countries far away. It always is amazing that someone from around the other side of the world are interested in God’s Word.
Today this is for someone who may not know that Jesus not only died, was buried and rose again, but He is going to return to take those who have accepted Him as their Savior to Heaven.
The Bible verses tell it all.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
