Faith, Hope and Charity
February 11, 2020
Love is translated charity in the King James Bible. Love is charity. Love for God and love for others, the two great commandments.
Trust in the Lord at All Times
January 21, 2020Sometimes we have situations in our lives that we run to God in prayer. It may be an accident, illness or even death of a loved one or friend. God answers prayer. He heals physically and we Praise Him. We don’t always understand when it seems like He didn’t hear us. Maybe it is bad news, cancer or worse, but He is there. He brings comfort and peace in the most difficult situations. We must trust Him not only in the good times but especially in the time of trial and heartbreak.
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Our Plans
March 20, 2019Sometimes we make plans that seem very important to us at the time. Then something comes up, and those plans change. Maybe there’s an accident, a friend needs our help, or we cannot do it because we get sick. We are extremely disappointed and wonder, WHY?
God has allowed our plans to change. Remember, God loves us and He knows why. He may reveal the answer, but often He does not. That is when we need to trust Him all the more. He can turn our plans into His plan. The whole direction of our life can turn around in the change of just one of our plans. Are we trusting Him with our disappointments?
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Food for Thought
August 8, 2018“We ought to be living as if Jesus died yesterday, rose this morning, and is coming back this afternoon.” – Adrian Rogers
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? I Thessalonians 2:19
You can be 100% sure you are going to heaven.
1) Admit you have sinned. Romans 3:23
2) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9
3) Call upon the Lord. Romans 10:13
Pray: Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner, I believe you died on the cross for forgiveness of my sins. I ask that you forgive my sins, come into my heart and make my life new. I receive you as my Savior. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

The Powerful Word
