Today there are many events taking place where SOS Events have volunteers set up a booth to bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus.
Please pray for the volunteers that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that people will be saved. God calls that the harvest.
October is the busiest month for SOS Events. Every weekend is full of events. Pray there will be enough volunteers to work at all of the events.
God gave us the Pastor of our church to help us get through hard times. The Pastor officiates at our wedding, celebrates the birth of our children, prays with us in sickness and sorrows, and at the death of a loved one.
All the time having the same problems we have in his own family. He needs our prayers. Take a few minutes and pray for him today.
Pray he will have power of the Holy Spirit to preach the truth. Pray he will not be distracted by people or circumstances. Pray God will comfort him as he has the burden of his own but also takes the burdens of his whole congregation.
Most of all do not have roast preacher for lunch. Do not talk negatively about him or his family. Let us love our Pastor and show him our appreciation.
Have you ever tried to do something and you utterly failed? You failed because you were doing it in your own strength.
The Bible tells us it is not by our power or strength, but by the Holy Spirit.
God wants us to take our failures and fears to Him and the Holy Spirit will turn those failures into success if we give it all to Him.
Your Pastor needs your prayers. Pray he is filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray he will be bold to preach the truth.
Listen to him. Apply the message to your heart. Go from church refreshed and renewed.
Jeremiah 3:15 – And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding
When SOS Events volunteers go to an event to witness and win souls, the most important thing that they must do is rely on the Holy Spirit to bring people to the booth and then bring conviction into their hearts so the hear and accept the gospel. All the work, prayer and preparation will come to nothing without the Holy Spirit’s Power.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Today in Michigan a SOS Events team will be at an event witnessing to people. This is a new event, and a new team. This is a 3 day event and many of the team members are witnessing at an event for the first time.
They need prayer for wisdom and fullness of the Holy Spirit. Also, pray for people to come to the booth and be saved.
Did you ever make a promise and then forget it? Then the Holy Spirit reminds you of it and you can fulfill what you’ve promised.
I made a promise to my granddaughter and then forgot about it. Then I was talking to a friend and all of a sudden I remembered. Was I too late?
No, God blessed and I was able to fill that promise to her before it was too late.
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

When we receive Jesus as our Savior, He sends the Holy Spirit to dwell in us.
We know that we have inherited eternal life and we can live an abundant life now, filled with peace, joy and love whatever our circumstances.
Today, SOS Events has 2 places that will have teams of volunteers to witness to people in Florida.
This photo was taken last month at a food distribution at a local church in Plant City. SOS Events volunteers will be at this event again today.
At the same time more volunteers will be in Dade City at an all day event. Please pray for souls to be saved. Pray for SOS Events workers that they have wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit.
Events are few because of COVID-19 but God still gives opportunities to tell others about Jesus.
