As we examine the activities of our day, we might entertain the thought of change. Being willing to let the Lord change us is an important part of our growth. Romans 12:1-2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” In these verses God tells us three things on how we can partner with Him for internal and external change. 1) Present your life, work, and ministry to Him. 2) Don’t follow the pattern of the world, as you might miss out on the radical changes He wants for you and 3) Renew your mind. This can be done by staying in the Scriptures and praying as you seek God’s wisdom for your life.

Something to Think About
April 26, 2018Who is your Identity in?
April 25, 2018Identification is more than our picture, our name or our actions. Our identity goes deep into our being, our soul. Have you ever felt lost in who you are? Genesis 2:7 says, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” That is where our identity started. As we discover God and learn who He is and how He loves us, we realize we have a choice to accept Him, trusting Him to be our Heavenly Father. It is then we can choose to have our identity in Christ for eternity. Matthew 16:26 says, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
If you question your identity being in Christ, please my friend, acknowledge and admit that you have sin in your life, believe that Jesus died for you, that He was buried and was raised from the dead. He is in Heaven giving you the opportunity to trust in Him. All you need to do is call upon His name. Romans 10:13, “For whosoever(you) shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
You can be 100% where your identity is. Mine is IN CHRIST.
Unconditional Love
April 24, 2018Don’t let your past determine your future. Look to God for the truth. Don’t let the past steal you from the joys of today. The Lord has so much for you. I pray you will take time to read His Word daily and talk to Him through prayer then watch how he will guide you. He wants to walk with you every minute of the day, you are so important to Him. Ask Him to open your eyes to the truth of His unconditional love for you. See yourself through His eyes.
Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV) says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Encouragement
April 22, 2018Our heavenly Father understands our disappointment, suffering, pain, fear, and doubt. He is always there to encourage our hearts and help us understand that He’s sufficient for all of our needs. When I accepted this as an absolute truth in my life, I found that my worrying stopped. -Dr. Charles Stanley

Spring Break
April 3, 2018This is the time of year when students, teachers, businesses and others have “Spring Break”. People go about getting away from their regular routine to have fun, vacation and relax. Everyone needs to take time out for some relaxation or we get burned out. There is Someone who never stops taking care of us, He is always “on the job” Aren’t you glad that God never sleeps or takes a vacation from us. If you are taking a break, now or later, remember to keep in touch with Him. Do not get away from God. Continue to pray and read your Bible even if you are on Spring Break.
Psalms 121:3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

The Love of God
February 15, 2018Hopefully, you are not tired of seeing blogs about Love. Just one more… God’s love is a pure love that can never fail us. His love is beyond our comprehension. Our spouses, children and friends who we love can disappoint us but God will never leave us or forsake us. The measure of his love is that He sent Jesus to die in our place for all the sins that we have committed. What a great God we have!!!!!
1 John 4:10 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
