This little chorus is a great way to teach your children to be thankful. It also opens the door to a conversation about their salvation.
As a family singing, especially on car trips, brought joy and harmony into whatever we were doing.
There are many little songs that honor the Lord. Sing with your children and teach them to be thankful.
Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Psalm 147:1

God is always with us wherever we go and whatever we do. What a blessing.


God wants us to nave joy and be joyful.
Can we have joy even in difficult situations? Yes. True joy comes from having Jesus as our Savior and knowing that He has a plan for us even in times of crisis and uncertainty.
He is worthy to be praised. True joy is on the inside not in outward situations.

Today, people in the USA are looking forward a long Labor Day weekend. Many people will be on busy highways traveling by car.
We as Christians need to trust in The Lord for safety. Take precautions but know that our safety is in the Lord.


Maybe you cannot go to church because of illness, your job or family responsibilities. God understands.
But, you may have stopped going during Covid and never went back. Disagreement with a church member or hurt feelings. Think about it. Are those really valid reasons for staying home?
We do have many ways to get church services on TV, radio or YouTube. But does that really satisfy?
We miss fellowship with other Christians. We miss the opportunity to see people baptized after they have been saved. Sometimes we may miss seeing the Holy Spirit working in the hearts of others. We also miss the opportunity to help someone else who may need us to be their friend.
Church is important. Let’s go.

Don’t let your past determine your future. Look to God for the truth. Don’t let the past steal you from the joys of today. The Lord has so much for you.
I pray you will take time to read His Word daily and talk to Him through prayer then watch how he will guide you. He wants to walk with you every minute of the day, you are so important to Him.
Ask Him to open your eyes to the truth of His unconditional love for you. See yourself through His eyes.
Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV) says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
