There is a special bond between other Christians and ourselves. We have a wonderful family that may not be our physical relatives, but are spiritual brothers and sisters in Christ.
Today, be thankful for your Christian friends. Pray for them, encourage them and most of all show love to them. We are blessed to have Godly friends.
Thanksgiving is next week. So all of this week and next, I will post something that I am thankful for.
SOS Events ministry is growing. Last week there were 3 new volunteers who worked in events. On Saturday, a couple that speaks Spanish volunteered at a local Food Distribution where 17 people trusted Jesus as their Savior.
SOS Events needs Spanish speaking volunteers, especially in Florida and that is my thanksgiving and praise, today. God sent 3 more to work on the Florida Team.
Hebrews 13:15-16 – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
If your pastor preaches the Word and sometimes makes you feel uncomfortable because you need correction. If he brings you comfort when you are sick or hurting. If he and his family are a blessing to you, be thankful.
Not everyone has a pastor like that. Many people in this world cannot even go to church or worship because of persecution. Pray for your pastor and let him know you appreciate him.
Sometimes our day starts out on the wrong foot. We have stress or something happens that causes us to think our day will be a disaster. Then GOD brings something good into our life. Maybe an encouraging phone call, text message or a letter.
That is what happened yesterday at the Plant city flea market. Things started out on the wrong foot. People were not coming over to the SOS Events booth, the volunteers seemed to have forgotten proper procedures. Is this day going to be a disaster?
NO, 17 people trusted Jesus as their Savior. What a wonderful blessing for the volunteers at the SOS Events booth. God turned things around and it was a great day after all.
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
Today is Veterans Day in the USA. A day to remember the brave men and women who fought so that we can live in freedom.
Also, a special thanks to the people who are in the military today. We are free to choose our leaders, we are free to rear our children as we please, we are free to follow the path to any career we desire, and much more, because of the sacrifice of these men and women in the military.
Most of all we are free to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who gives us true spiritual freedom.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
In the month of November we take time to have a special day of Thanksgiving. But as Christians we should be thankful every day for all that the Lord does for us.
I am especially thankful for the opportunity to write a blog every day. My prayer is that many will read it and get a taste for the Word of God.
I was especially happy when I saw that someone from South America was reading the blog. There is very few people that check it out from South America.
I am especially thankful for everyone from all over the world who get on line and have the opportunity to find Jesus as their Savior.
