Stephanie Curtis and Connie set up a SOS Events booth at the Apple Dumpling Festival in Delta, Ohio on Saturday. 9 people were saved. Praise the Lord!!! This Ohio Team is just getting started and Christians in the Toledo area would be blessed to join with them to win people to the Lord at events. Day 1 of 11: SOS Events at Fair with 17 decisions for Christ (9 salvations and 8 assurances). 4 others weren’t quite ready and we are praying for and following up with all of them. Also had 4 Pastors take pastor packets wanting to get their church trained on SOS. Praise the Lord! Thank you for volunteering Kathy Royal, Jessica Fleming, Carl Norton and leader Patty Mills. SOS Events Ministry focuses on prayer, especially for events. Prayer for the workers and prayer for the unsaved. The event season has arrived! Fall festivals and events of all kinds take place in the next 5 weeks. Please pray with us for good weather, wisdom for the workers and most of all for Salvations of people who go to events but not to church. Upcoming events in Alabama, Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee and more. Please join with us in prayer if you cannot join with us in person. Also, pray that YOU will be the worker that God uses to get out the gospel.

Time is short. Jesus may come anytime to meet us in the air. Do you have loved ones, neighbors or friends who are lost? What about those who will never step foot in church but go to events in your area? We must get busy winning souls. Do we want to meet Jesus empty handed? Fourteen people made salvation decisions at a Community Event in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Steve Slater, team leader, trained two couples and they went to their first event. What a wonderful example of how God uses the “3 Things God Can Not Do” to led people to the Lord and give confidence to new soul winners. The highlight of the day was when a uniformed police officer took time to come into the SOS Events booth to be saved. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness as we Serve Our Savior. He brings the increase.

Today there are many events that are taking place in several different states. Alabama, Florida and Pennsylvania teams will be busy witnessing and soul winning with SOS Events Ministry. Please be in prayer for the Team Leaders, Volunteers and most importantly the unsaved people attending these events. May the workers be filled with the Holy Spirit and the unsaved be drawn to hear about Jesus and receive Him as their Savior.

Sometimes we do not feel like doing something that we know God wants us to do. On Wednesday especially the SOS Events team that goes to the Plant City Flea Market 52 weeks a year must get tired and feel like quitting. Getting there before sunrise to set up, then the extreme heat of Florida summers could make anyone want to quit. BUT, they do not. And God blesses with souls who get saved. Last week 7 people trusted Jesus as Savior. Thank you faithful team members. Your rewards will be in Heaven when you are told, “Well done, faithful servants.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
A special Happy Labor Day to all the Leaders, Volunteers and Staff of SOS Events Ministry who work tirelessly at events and behind the scenes to win souls to Jesus. Thank you to each and everyone of you.

Recently new neighbors moved into a house close to the SOS Events office. There were toys in the yard, cars in the driveway but no one was ever out in the yard to talk to. Everyone in the office wondered who our new neighbors were. Finally, one morning while passing by their house, Diana, SOS Events office manager, decided to stop by to invite the children to church.
Imagine the surprise when Carolyn walked into the office to find it full of children. Six to be exact, along with their grandmother. Diana had not only invited them to church but led the whole family to the Lord then brought them to the office to meet the rest of the office staff. Soul winning is something that should be on the hearts and minds of every Christian and SOS Events is blessed to have staff that witness not only at events but in our lives everyday.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
