This is a family that were saved on the first day of Stawberry Festival. What a blessing to have a whole family come to Christ. 23 people have been saved the first two days of the festival. They are now children of the King.

February 18, 2016Soul winning and teaching others to win souls is the main purpose of SOS Events ministry. It is a great joy to see people come to know the Lord through the various events that take place.
God is richly blessing with many Spanish speaking people in our area coming to the Lord. Pastor Romero and his team go the Lakeland Flea Market every Sunday and turned in 89 decision slips this week. Those results were for several Sundays.
The Bible says to go into all the world and preach the gospel but in Florida many from other countries come to us. To God be the Glory!
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Event Idea
February 2, 2016An idea for an event is a Block Party. Invite neighbors and have food, fun and fellowship. It does not have to be long. Two or three hours.
A church in Lakeland, FL had a Block Party last weekend and about 30 people attended. Three people were saved. Two children and one adult.
That is a great percentage. Ten percent of the people there were saved.
SOS Events calls events like that “Churchyard Events”. The great advantage is that the new converts are already familiar with the church and do not feel uncomfortable to come to church as they have already been on the property and have met some of the church members. Praise the Lord for “Churchyard Events.”

390 Decisions for Christ
November 11, 2015SOS Events team in Alabama once again did a terrific job witnessing and winning souls using the “3 Things God Can Not Do” at an event.
Patty Mills, team leader, wrote:
We are praising God for the 390 decisions for Christ made at the Alabama National Fair over 10 days – Oct. 30 through Nov. 8. Without the prayers and the Holy Spirit going before us, using us and going after us, none of it would have been possible.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Alabama Fair
November 4, 2015The fair in Alabama is about half over and we are praying for many decisions at that event. Please pray with all of us at SOS Events that the workers will not be hindered by the devil.
God is always faithful to bring people to the booth and this event is another opportunity to win souls.
Great Harvest
November 1, 2015Reports from Halloween Events are coming into the SOS Events home office. We will list a few as there are still several events to report in on Monday. The events have different names but they all were Halloween related. All events were in Florida except the one in Alabama.
New Home Baptist 24 decisions, Turkey Creek 14 decisions, Lebanon 16, Avon Park 27.
Diana, SOS Events office manager has a SOS Events booth set up in her yard for Trick or Treat. 22 salvations were reported.
Eastmont in Alabama had 45 decisions at their Trunk or Treat. That brings the total to 148 decisions and more reports will be in by tomorrow. Praise the Lord for all the decisions made. Pray for the all the new converts that they will grow and learn more about their new life in Christ.

Harvest Hayride Event
October 12, 2015Rain in New Jersey on the weekend cancelled monthly Columbus Flea Market and one night of Harvest Hayride, one of the most exciting and profitable events for soul winning that SOS Events has the privilege of participating in each year.
However, in spite of the rain the event did take place on Saturday evening and fourteen precious souls were saved. Sara B, Mae, Tom, Chris, Lena and Sandy with their team leader Lavanya worked in the booth. Thank you!
On the decision card, in answer to the question, What did Jesus do for you when you just prayed?; Simone, age 37, wrote: He sent me here to get me delivered from my fears.

17 Decisions
August 31, 2015Things were a little slower at the flea markets this week. In Florida the children are back in school so attendance of teens and kids are not present at the Wednesday Market but God blessed with Seventeen decisions. He blesses SOS Events faithful workers.
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Four Saved in Columbus
June 1, 2015Randy and Romona Thomas traveled to Ohio to work with a church at the “churchyard event” this past weekend. Four adults were saved and one of the couples are pictured below. SOS Events is blessed to have people willing to go wherever God leads them to win souls to Christ.

God’s Faithfulness
May 15, 2015As founders of SOS Events Ministry, Tom and I are so grateful to the faithful workers and volunteers who continue to do the work of the ministry when we are not able to be in the office or at events because of Tom’s health problems.
God’s work continues, souls are getting saved and the ministry is growing and will continue to flourish because of the great staff, Board of Directors, office workers and volunteers that God has used to keep everything running smoothly. A good example is the 17 souls that made decisions to follow JESUS at the Plant City Flea Market on Wednesday. Pictured below is Randy with 2 boys who were saved at the Flea Market.
2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
