The Only Way To A Joyous Future Is Jesus!

May 30, 2025
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 1 Peter 1:8

This was on Facebook this morning. Humerus but sadly true. With all the problems that individuals face, there seems to be no joy.

Jesus brings joy. And those of us who know Him have a joyous future. Maybe hard times on earth but the promise of joy in Heaven.

Wait on the Lord!

May 29, 2025

Sometimes waiting is very difficult. Waiting to get married, or that that new baby will be born, for a job or a new house. All of these things are important in our lives and we get impatient.

The Bible tells us to wait upon the Lord. In this verse, it talks about when we get tired and sometimes we want to give up, but God tells us to wait upon Him and he will give us the strength courage to go on.

Whatever you are waiting for, be patient, trust in the Lord, and if it is His will, he will bring it to pass.

Why Do You Go To Church?

May 18, 2025

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Go to church for the right reason.

Jesus Gives Strength To His Children

May 17, 2025

Paul tells us in the book of Philippians that he went through many trials and afflictions, and whatever happened to him good or bad he can trust Jesus to give him strength.

That is true today. If we trust Jesus, He will give us strength to do whatever He wants us to do.

Daily Bible Reading and Prayer

May 9, 2025

How do you start your day? Get up, grab breakfast in a hurry and rush out the door. You are stressed and feel frazzled.

The better plan for a good day is to start your day with Bible reading and prayer. No time you think. Get up earlier before everyone starts to need you. It is worth the effort.

Quiet time with the LORD is essential. Your day will go much better.

Time Is Short!

May 5, 2025

Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful group of women at Orange Park Baptist Church on Saturday.

It is always a blessing to share her story with others. Giving opportunity for them to accept Jesus as their Savior, and Christians to serve the LORD.

In this photo she reminds the audience that time is short. We must use the time wisely and use every opportunity to tell others about Jesus.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15 & 16

Everyday Rejoice!

May 4, 2025

We can rejoice everyday because the LORD made the day. There are days that we may not feel like rejoicing.

But this Psalm tells us of all the things God has promised to His children. Even in tough times we can rejoice because God is with us.

So today, if you are having a great day, rejoice. If your day is full of trouble or sorrow you still can still rejoice in the LORD because of what He has done for you.

Friends

May 3, 2025

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Matthew 18:24

If you have a friend or many friends, you are truly blessed.

Friendship is one of God’s gifts to us.

There is One Friend who is the most important friend of all. He is the LORD, JESUS.

He is the friend who you can count on no matter what happens in your life. Good times and bad, He is always with you.

How can He become your best friend? Believe He died, was buried and rose again. Ask Him to forgive your sin. Invite Him into your life.

Thank Him for being your friend.

What Is The Greatest Commandment?

May 1, 2025

This question was asked to Jesus by one of the Pharisees.

What is the greatest commandment?

Jesus answered, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” (Matthew 22:37-38)

This is still true today. Join with me and pray that we will love the LORD with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength.
