Sometimes waiting is very difficult. Waiting to get married, or that that new baby will be born, for a job or a new house. All of these things are important in our lives and we get impatient.
The Bible tells us to wait upon the Lord. In this verse, it talks about when we get tired and sometimes we want to give up, but God tells us to wait upon Him and he will give us the strength courage to go on.
Whatever you are waiting for, be patient, trust in the Lord, and if it is His will, he will bring it to pass.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Paul tells us in the book of Philippians that he went through many trials and afflictions, and whatever happened to him good or bad he can trust Jesus to give him strength.
That is true today. If we trust Jesus, He will give us strength to do whatever He wants us to do.
How do you start your day? Get up, grab breakfast in a hurry and rush out the door. You are stressed and feel frazzled.
The better plan for a good day is to start your day with Bible reading and prayer. No time you think. Get up earlier before everyone starts to need you. It is worth the effort.
Quiet time with the LORD is essential. Your day will go much better.
Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful group of women at Orange Park Baptist Church on Saturday.
It is always a blessing to share her story with others. Giving opportunity for them to accept Jesus as their Savior, and Christians to serve the LORD.
In this photo she reminds the audience that time is short. We must use the time wisely and use every opportunity to tell others about Jesus.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15 & 16
We can rejoice everyday because the LORD made the day. There are days that we may not feel like rejoicing.
But this Psalm tells us of all the things God has promised to His children. Even in tough times we can rejoice because God is with us.
So today, if you are having a great day, rejoice. If your day is full of trouble or sorrow you still can still rejoice in the LORD because of what He has done for you.
