SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have a group of ladies that come faithfully once a month to help get out the newsletter. Yesterday, 18 worked diligently and by 11:30 everything was finished. Thank you Senior Servants for the work you do.

We are blessed in the United States of America to have freedom of religion for our lifetime. Jesus gives us freedom from our sin for all eternity.

Tomorrow is Father’s Day in the USA. A day when we honor our fathers. To some the day is a happy occasion. New fathers look at their babies and have joy in their new child. Some people are sadden on the day because their father has passed away or has abandoned the family. A day of mixed emotions. To the Christian, we know we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, and is always there, just a prayer away. We can call Him, Abba Father, which is translated “Daddy” in the English language.
Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Carolyn Curtis is blessed to celebrate her daughter, Judy’s retirement. They are spending a few days at Panama City Beach in Florida enjoying the beautiful weather, good food and fellowship. Even Jesus got away to rest for awhile, but there is nowhere in the Bible that talks about retirement from God’s work. In fact, Christians who are blessed with good health and do not have to go to a secular job should spend more tim working for the Lord. 26 decisions for Christ Saturday in Milton, Fl at an Event called Reimagine (Reimagine, a nonprofit focused on improving the quality of life by sharing resources and the teachings of Jesus, hosted the free event in Milton.) SOS Events Alabama team with leader Patty Mills, drove from Montgomery to Milton for this event.
Psalms 100:2 Serve the Lord with gladness:
You never know what handing someone a tract will do. Yesterday a phone call came into the office from a Pastor in Pennsylvania wanting to order 500 “3 Things God Cannot Do” tracts. Someone had handed him one of our tracts and he shared it with another Pastor. Both loved the simplicity of the gospel and the way it was written. When asked for his name for shipping purposes the last name was recognized as the same as one of the people who came to a training just a few weeks ago in Florida. We found out he is the brother-in-law to the lady who was trained. She had given the tract to Him. Now he and his Pastor friend wants to use the SOS Events method to win souls in their churches. That once again opens new territory for the ministry in two towns in Pennsylvania. God is enlarging our boarders.
1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
SOS Events is blessed to have dedicated people all over the USA. Yesterday you were asked to pray for workers and the Lord answered prayer. Carl from Alabama is coming to help close the Strawberry Festival and Stephanie from Pennsylvania is coming to help with the opening. They are team leaders from their area. Tonight there is a training for five new ladies that want to work as a Sunday School activity. Thank you for praying and please continue to pray for SOS Events.
